Had an amazing day on the Thunder Party boat. Took our 10 year old grandson for his first trip! We all had a great day! Captain and mate were both very attentive and helpful and very friendly. Would highly recommend heading out on Thunder if you want a wonderful fishing trip!

Great time fishing on the Thunder party boat caught a variety of 12 fish, 8 were keepers on their 8 hour trip. Great Captain and crew. I gave it 4 stars because it could use some air conditioning and another bathroom, but it's a small boat.

My sister, her husband Dave, my wife, and myself went fishing the Thunder party boat. We could not have asked for a better day, the crew Dan and Ron knew exactly where and when to navigate to. At each ‘fishing hole” we caught loads of fish. The mate was Johnny on the spot assisting both the new fishermen and seasoned old farts like myself. The boat departed on time the ride out isn’t worth mentioning, the boat was also quite clean, (I watched the mate clean it after every stop). The boat was full but not packed in like sardines, I didn’t see 1 tangle. The ride back to the dock was also not worth mentioning,the mate filleted everyone’s catch while returning back to port,. When I got home I weighed our catch, we had 18.7 pounds of filleted fish. In parting I will say that every time I’ve been fishing on the Thunder I have enjoyed myself and caught fish.

This is what you need to know! When you arrive at the boat there is a sign in sheet for boarding in the wooden box on the stand. During my trip, I had people who had gotten there at 3 AM to sign in first to get the best spot on the boat. The best place is in the back of the boat on the left-hand side but anywhere in the back should be fine. Captain Chaz and his first mate. Rob are extremely knowledgeable fisherman Pretty much everything is provided for you during your fishing trip, but bring your own food, drink and sunscreen. They provided squid as our bait for the day, and it worked fine, but for the hard-core fisherman, they usually bring their own bait which includes live shrimp. We had about 16 people on board and caught about 120 fish that we could keep during our trip. Rob does a fantastic job of filleting your fish, and they put them in a baggie with ice for you to take home. If you’re looking for a no frills charter, this is definitely your boat.

I a really nice Quality boat about 20 peaple on it Lots of Sitting room while getting out to the fish round about 20 miles or so, met some nice people The captain's mate is a little impatient Perhaps he was just having a bad day, I was out there a couple years ago he wasn't impatient as he was this time. The captain will put you on fish and extra fish in your bucket, The captain's name is Chaz, and he is really a kind and good guy.
