What a beautiful experience and even more beautiful day. Lots of activities for the family from camping to swimming to just plain doing nothing. Each spring offer views for all to enjoy with plenty of picnic table seating. The most visited springs are Ginnie and devil’s eye. You can stay all day if you plan properly and prepare we spent about four hours here and they went by pretty fast, just exploring nature. Love to see places like this still exist in its natural habitat and I would recommend for families couples or just a quick getaway trip in nature.

My family and I visited this place for a short vacation during Spring break. The springs have incredible caves that are open to be explored by anyone. (If you want to genuinely go inside, you will have to register) We spotted numerous turtles and other marine life, making it a truly unforgettable and enjoyable experience.

My wife and I drove three hours to visit this campground because my friends spoke highly of it. When we arrived, the staff were amazing, and the place was beautiful. However, I do have some major complaints about my experience. I understand that part of the issue is due to the time of year I chose to visit, but I also believe the staff could have handled the situation better.

I drove three hours to escape the city, the noise, and the crowds—to relax and decompress—but my experience was the complete opposite. There were between 20 and 25 college kids, all drunk, screaming, and driving their trucks up and down the roads while yelling. Despite my campsite being deep in the woods, on the opposite side from the waterfront where the group was, I could still clearly hear their loud music and shouting. It was completely unacceptable.

I paid $80 for my wife and me to enjoy a peaceful getaway, but instead, we were surrounded by noise and chaos. If people want to party, they should go to a bar—not a campground meant for relaxation. Although the staff frequently drove around the grounds, they did nothing to address the disturbance. And it wasn’t just me who was upset—at the bathhouse the next morning, several other campers were complaining about the same issue.

I understand that you can’t please everyone, but at some point, you have to choose whether to prioritize a peaceful environment or allow disruptive behavior. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t live up to the relaxing getaway we had hoped for.

Such a beautiful place! I've been here twice now and still highly recommend to friends and family if they are wanting to add more memorable moments. I camped both times and talk about them all the time.! This place is definitely fun, beautiful, relaxing, and breath taking all in one! Last time I was there we saw a manatee!!!!

This spot provides convenient access to some springs, but it may not be the most ideal option. The fees can add up quickly, so go early and get your money worth!! The staff could be more welcoming. The springs range in depth from 8–10 feet to around 25–30 feet. Divers mentioned that the cave is quite impressive and reasonably sized, adding to the appeal for those with proper certifications.

I'm one of the regular cave divers that frequent Ginnie weekly. It's an awesome place and can be pretty busy on the weekends during the warmer months. The management and staff are very professional and friendly. Also they have made stricter rules regarding partying and are enforcing them.

Ginnie Springs is a spectacular place, with a beautiful natural environment and an experience well worth enjoying. However, the park’s management, especially the attitude of the diving manager, left us with a very negative impression that ruined what was supposed to be an unforgettable weekend with family.

We planned this trip months in advance, rented an RV inside the park for four nights, and traveled more than eight hours to reunite after years without being together. Unfortunately, a poorly handled but completely solvable situation forced us to leave the park unfairly.

Upon arrival, I made the mistake of putting on my diving suit before registering, unaware that this was a mandatory requirement. When an employee informed me, I immediately took off the suit without any objection. However, shortly after, the diving manager arrived and, instead of seeking a solution, made an extreme and inflexible decision: expelling all of us from the park.

In a polite and respectful manner, I tried to explain that it was never my intention to break the rules and proposed several reasonable solutions to correct my mistake:
✔ Registering and paying any required fee or fine.
✔ Handing over my diving equipment as a guarantee that I would not use it again.
✔ Even leaving the park myself so my family could stay and enjoy the planned vacation.

Despite all these proposals, the manager flatly refused any alternative and forced us to leave the park, without considering the great effort we made to be there, the over $2,000 expense, or the fact that this was a special trip for my mother’s birthday.

Although they refunded the remaining nights I had already paid for, they did not refund the first night, nor the money for the wetsuits and float rentals (which we barely used due to our premature expulsion). Additionally, I lost the money for all RV rental nights, as well as the transportation, cleaning, and setup fees.

My intention with this review is not to discourage anyone from visiting this incredible place, but rather to emphasize the importance of improving the training of the management staff. A manager at a tourist destination should not only know and enforce the rules but also be able to handle situations with judgment, empathy, and flexibility. The difference between a great experience and a disappointing one is not just the location itself but how visitors are treated.

I hope this review encourages park management to review their protocols and better train their managers, so that future families can enjoy this beautiful destination without solvable mistakes turning into frustrating experiences.
