I installed the MMD reverse gear on my 2016 FXDLS (Low Rider S). This kit was the only one with the lever towards the front of the bike. Since the battery on my Dyna is on the side the other kits I found would not clear. The kit was straightforward and only took a few hours. I wish I would have done this years ago. I'm short (5'6") and 66 years old with a bad left knee. The reverse gear just bought me trouble free parking! Thank you Marvin!

I want to thank Marv and Sali for their hospitality and support. I installed a reverse gear kit in my 1987 Electra Glide Classic. It turns out I had an unusual problem in that the transmission was not stock causing a problem with the length of the clutch push rod. I called Marv and we discussed several remedies which I was able to do without a lot of effort. The unit works like a dream. I just wish I had done it 20 years ago. Thanks again Marv and Sali.

I have a '92 Springer that I fit a Mamba Reverse kit to many years ago. In 2017 I bought a Road Glide Ultra and being used to a reverse gear decided this bike needed one.
I saw the MMD 6-speed kit and contacted Marvin, who explained what I would need for a hydraulic clutch. He sent all the bits, which I received in 10 days to the UK.
Everything went like a dream apart from the pushrod being 1/8" too long. The idler gear mechanism insert is 7/8" wide and the supplied pushrod is 7/8" longer so should have been perfect fit. Contacted Marvin who was also at a loss but was happy for me to machine 1/8" off the pushrod.
It must have been HD using oddball bits in the initial build, possibly the hydraulic piston.
The OEM exhaust went on perfectly without the need for any spacers etc.
Fired it up and works like a dream.
Quality machining of the parts (the hydraulic end cover and shift lever are a work of art) good price and again, excellent shipping to the UK.

Eurowing USA exemplifies customer service. When I called I was able to actually speak to one of the owners, Marvin. When I placed my internet order it was at a time when key employees were on vacation or Ill. Once I called EUROWING and made them aware of the delay, Marvin sent out my kit the very next morning. Unfortunately the box was damaged in shipping and a part was missing. Again Marvin immediately sent out a replacement part. It arrived in a couple days and I was able to complete the installation. The MMD reverse kit works and looks great on the motorcycle. It definitely will increase the safety and enjoyment for my wife as she rides her bike. Great service and great product!

I purchased the MMD 6 Speed Reverse Gear kit after realizing that I required assistance with reversing my 2012 Road King out of the Condor Pit Stop cradle.

I chose the MMD 6 Speed Reverse Gear kit since it has a nice factory look and has a fully adjustable lever (silver or black) that is used to engage and disengage the reverse gear.

The reverse gear is engaged when the bike is in neutral with the clutch disengaged (clutch lever pulled in).

Reverse speed is controlled by working the clutch in the friction zone (feathering the clutch lever) and using the throttle.

Should you try to engage the reverse gear when the bike is in gear (not in neutral) the safety interlock will kill the motor.

The reverse gear unit is mounted between the existing Clutch Release Cover (labeled Six Speed) and the Transmission Side Door. The unit is about a half inch thick.

I elected to do a self-install of the MMD 6 Speed Reverse Gear since I had previous experience performing mechanical and electrical modifications.

The instructions were straight forward and it does help if you have experience working on your bike.

The kit included specialty tools required for proper installation.
I had to purchase a 1-1/8” socket and a 5/8” countersink bit from the local hardware store.

The only difficulty I experienced was using the milling bit (provided) to drill two holes for pins that lock one of the reverse gears to the main shaft.
This was mainly due to my lack of experience with milling bits.
Marvin at EurowingUSA was very patient and thorough with coaching me with the proper use of the milling bit and guide.

Marvin also provided me with detailed instructions on wiring the reverse gear for my Road King.

The excellent support I received from Marvin via phone and email resulted in the successful installation of the reverse gear.

With the MMD 6 Speed Reverse Gear, I no longer have to worry about being stuck in a nose down predicament where reverse is the only way out.
