We loved the location of this resort. It was literally across the street from the beach. There was a very nice swimming pool with warm water. The service was amazing!!! Whenever we needed anything we had prompt attention to filling our needs. Very inadequate lighting in the living room. We had trouble getting hot water in the kitchen sink. Overall, it was a great experience and we would recommend to others.

This is the most wonderful place to stay! The service is out of this world! I needed something, anything- they delivered it almost immediately! The rooms are big and clean and each have their own balcony on the second floor or a little private sitting area outside your door. Most rooms have direct views of the ocean and the beach is ACROSS THE STREET! They give you beach chairs! The pool was quiet and beautiful. The property beautifully landscaped! What wonderful people they have working there. They held our luggage and extended our checkout time because of a late flight. The Dover has a sitting area with a fountain and comfy outdoor seating with little decorative pools dotted over this fabulous courtyard. Walking distance to many restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. Great affordability and none of that pretentiousness of the over priced "glam" hotels. Will return without a doubt.

Our stay at the Dover House was absolutely wonderful! The office staff so kind, the cleaning staff excellent, and of course the morning sunrises unforgettable. We have already reserved for next year! Love the parking!

Dover house is a newly refurbished, comfortable, condo style resort. They are nice spacious one bedroom units with living room and kitchen. It is located on the beautiful ocean of Delray beach, at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and A1A close to everything in Palm Beach County with restaurants and bars. They also have a pool and outdoor grills.

The Dover House is a great place to vacation.
We have been coming to the Dover House for years and we love it. It is in walking distance to everything. No need to drive anywhere.
They keep it clean and updated. They are always making improvements. We love it here.

This was probably the worst vacation property I have ever stayed at. Upon arrival the room appeared to be clean. Once we went inside and started to unpack, I took off my slides and immediately noticed how dirty the floor was. We had laminate flooring in our unit, and it hadn’t been mopped, you can tell. The bottom of My feet were black. We headed over to Dollar Tree for cleaning products. After a 16 hr day to get here, I cleaned this room top to bottom. There was hair, long red hair, in the bed & shower, and long black hair inside the microwave. YUCK! I always have my husband check the bed for bed bugs, we were good there. Couldn’t sleep in, there was construction going on that they warned us about AFTER we checked-in. The remotes had a sticky residue on them, not sure what it was. The furniture in the living room was stained pretty badly and the water pressure is extremely low. Also, It takes a while for the water to get hot. There was a left-over towel scrunched up in the corner in the tiny bathroom, so there was a stinch in there I could not get rid of. No telling how long it had been there. The bathroom did not have a bath fan, and you need those. There was also a stinch in one of the friges. ( Like old spoiled food.) The broom was like 10 years old. The furniture in the living room is extremely uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin, I could hear everytime the guy next door got a text, and I could hear their tv pretty clearly, so clearly I knew what they were watching. The outlets in the living room along the mirrored wall are horrible, nothing stayed plugged in. The toilet seat was old and loose, and they had the audacity to put a sanitary seal over it. The room LOOKS NICE online, but it is out-dated. This place really made me miss being at home. And thats not how you wanna feel while on vacation.

The good thing about this property was the location & the hospitality. Anything we needed, we would text and they would come within a few minutes. Towels, ice, CLEANING SUPPLIES SO THAT I COULD DO THEIR JOB, anything. Although they are stingy with the towels in your room upon arrival. They also have nice sized tvs in the rooms. Thats about it.

Good experience. Rooms are clean and the air conditioning is strong. Sofa beds are unbearably uncomfortable. Be sure to ask for a roll-in cot if they are available. Service is done through text messages as the contact with main office is minimal. Location is amazing, right by the beach and busy area with lots of restaurants and stores. Pool is very basic and has no hot tub, which it definitely should have. Will return for sure!
