It was amazing private tour. Our guide Harris was knowledgeable of the island facts and took us to all the places we wanted to see and was patient and showed some extra spots. Then he took us to a local restaurant where we had an amazing lunch and we ended a day at the beach that was beautiful and not too crowded.

We have used Shore Excursions Group 5 times on our most resent crusie to New Zealand. They were great at all the ports but the wine tours & Antarcticia Center were very special. I have used them before. They always are easy to find, give a much better experiance than the ship tours and the company is very easy to deal with. Even when I missed the ship and had to cancel it was easy. They pick what must be the better locals from what can tell to tours. The smaller groups always works to our favor and we get to see more in less time. They are my go to for cruises.

Our tour guide in Christchurch had a great sense of humour. He kept us all on schedule. He also was very knowledgeable. We learnt a great deal about the earthquake. He spoke very clearly on the bus. We were able to hear him very well even though I am nearly in need of hearing aids. We loved the tour around the Antarctic Centre. For those who have not been there, this is a must see.

My children and I loved this snorkel adventure excursion so much that we booked it again for our upcoming cruise. The guides made us feel so welcome and at home, our group was fairly small (making the experience feel more personable), we learned a ton about the different environments we were in ie: the Amazing Wall, Gibbs Cay and when observing a deep dive. We highly recommend Shore Excursions Group!
Side note, when booking this year I needed to call with a couple questions; they have amazing customer service and were able to help answer my questions quickly and efficiently…definitely what you want when booking out of country travel!

The Nassau tour (with Atlantis) was a great way to see the island when you have a limited amount of time. (The instructions to find the guide was easy.) You got the history and literally a flavor of the island (the yummy Rum Cake). On hindsight, I wish we would have ended our tour at Atlantis and taken a cab back to the ship (there wasn’t enough time to fully appreciate and see the resort). Next time!

Ancient Ephesus and House of Mary/ cruise port excursion.
We were met on the pier, easy to find the guide.
Nice small group of just six people. Comfortable mini bus with air conditioning. Guide was really great and gave us lots of interesting information. Ephesus was really busy but we were escorted through effortlessly and got to see all the sites along with all the background information to give context to what we were seeing.
After the tour ended we had time to visit the local market in Kusadasi before returning to the shop.
Excellent value for money and 1/2 the price of the cruise line excursions.

Have booked with Shore Excursions multiple times for different cruises and they never disappoint. They are always easy to contact and have great customer service. The tours themselves feel less crowded than the larger cruise tours and more authentic. The latest tour we did was a food tour in Cartagena, Columbia and it ended up being a private tour with our group, was very reasonably priced and super fun!! Will definitely use Shore Exclusions Group on our next cruise.

For all 4 port days, I used Shore Excursions Groups for my activities. Since it was my first time on a cruise, I don’t know how the cruise’s own excursions are operated but my groups were small and travelled in a van instead of a bus. The guides were local and knowledgeable about the area. We were able to get back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. One thing to know (in my experience) is that the meeting spot is usually away from the port, compared to the cruise’s excursions, and we relied on the provided direction instructions and help from the locals.
