We were told we would be in a room with a full kitchen but instead were in a room with a microwave and dorm size refrigerator. We were told we would be moving later that day or the next morning. They took my name and number to call when it was ready but I never got a call. Later in the day, we met a couple in the pool who just booked that day and were put in a room with a full kitchen they didn’t want or need. Even better is they had an ocean view for the 4 nights they were staying. We got a view of the parking ramp for our week stay. Also, please be aware that you get one extra roll of toilet paper. When I asked for a roll, very rudely I was told that guests only get one extra and we needed to buy our own after that. I understand and could have been told without the rudeness. Finally, be ready to be approached to sit through a 90 minute presentation to get you to buy into their resort. We respectfully declined. There are better places to pick!

Personal care is what we experienced from Peter at the front desk to the pool side restaurant cooking your order on an open grill to perfection. It was like we went back in time to when service was service and the staff and management made you truly feel like you were special and on vacation. Right on a beautiful beach close to great restaurants and a beautiful boardwalk spanning the entire Hollywood beach coastline. Rooms were great, clean with superior ocean views from our room. Located on a quiet part of the beach even on spring break there is lots of room.

Overall very good stay! Absolute highlight is the security staff - they were truly some of the nicest, most helpful and accommodating people I’ve ever met!! Truly one of the best parts of the stay.

Location is phenomenal and rooms were in good shape!! Just a warning that there’s no heat but you can ask for a space heater if you get chilly weather like we did! And the windows don’t open, which is a little bit of a bummer.

Overall a good stay, made better by the wonderful staff!!

First day here and experience so far is less than ideal. Parking attendant man was very nice and beyond helpful, but can’t say the same for the girl at the front desk with red hair and spider lashes. She was so rude when I asked her a couple of general questions about the hotel. Asked her for a beach towel and she said they were out. Then not even 5 min later when walking down with my BATH towel I saw her handing them out to someone else. Not a good start to a vacation and really hope she isn’t working the next few days while I’m here

We recently had 3 nights booked here. We could only stay 2, as we discovered some things we could not tolerate. They charged us for THREE nights of PARKING OUR CAR, IN THEIR PARKING LOT, THAT IS FOR THEIR GUESTS. $20 per day, plus taxes $22 per day resort fees, based on THREE NIGHTS, we only stayed 2. The cable TV service would not work, as the remote did not work. We called several times and tried to get help with it. They sent someone who did not help us with the remote.
There was mold growing on the bathroom floor, in corner by the shower, but OUTSIDE of the shower. It was on the floor of the bathroom, in plain sight. We requested more towels. They refused saying each room has 3 sets and if they become soiled, we can go to THEIR coin operated laundry and wash and dry them, at OUR expense, our time, and our money. Yes, we did have discount on our reservation, the cost of the rooms was to be comped, BUT they charged us $131.22. They said was for 3 nights parking, taxes on staying 3 nights, and TAXES ON ALL OF THOSE FEES. Again, we stayed only 2 nights. We tried to cancel the 3RD night, but they refused and charged fees for all 3 of the nights, even though we did only stay, 2.
Overall, we were very disappointed in this facility. It was a dated property with very spartan amenities, and charged for everything, including a tasteless breakfast of eggs and bacon and a store bought lenders plain bagel, with old coffee in a paper cup. All for bargain price of $10, each.
In closing, we would not recommend Hollywood Beach Tower to anyone. This was thru Capital Vacations. This was a vacation package, We also had to endure a time-share presentation from Capital Vacations. ($20.00 per night for 3 nights) for parking and $22.00 per night (3 nights) as a, "Resort Fee." Taxes were charged on top of all of this. We only parked 2 nights and only stayed 2 nights. Again, we would not recommend Hollywood Beach Tower Resort and would not recommend Capital Vacations, to anyone.

First time staying- the front staff is clueless about anything, the parking is far away in a parking garage, the room is dirty- I mean very dirty, linens on bed don’t even look washed, dirt/sand in shower, oven had leftover food which burned off this nasty smell when turned on, toilets were gross. The cleaning staff clearly needs tips. On the positive side, the 1 bedroom is very spacious, and kitchen fully equipped. The resort is right on the ocean. The security guy is the most knowledgeable and nice.

We are currently staying at this facility. I completely agree with Sara Litner’s review from 5 days ago. The front desk never smiles and seem to hate their jobs. We had to wait 2 hours past the 3 pm check in time, along with many other people waiting on the same thing. We kept being told they would call us when our room was ready. The call never came. We had to keep checking with them. Sammy, the security guard is the exception to the rule. He is fabulous and kept us informed of everything going on and he is a bit elderly, but is happening. We love him. He needs to be training the rest of the employees. We booked our vacation through Capital Vacations who will sell their own mother for a profit. No joke ! They told us so many lies to get us to purchase. We had a 2 week booking. On day 7 they informed us we had to move rooms. What ? We were not the only ones. They were playing musical rooms with many of us. Everyone was complaining, the front desk did not care. When I said we were not moving, I was told we would be evicted with no refund. The chair situation at the pool is horrible. One guy goes down to the pool at 6am and puts towels on all the chairs to reserve them for his party. If we move any towels we are told someone is using that chair. I heard one of them say they were here 4 weeks. So we went to Walmart and bought our own chairs. Ridiculous situation. Their front desk has a sign stating they try for 5 stars!!! They will never be a 5 star resort at this rate. BUYER BEWARE ! We will never return here. The advantages of this place is they are right on the beach and have no bugs, so they feel they can do whatever they want.

I agree with all the other recent negative reviews. ||When we arrived, the parking security guard was yelling at a woman, who had parked her car, that he would call the cops on her. (She was there to meet with Capital Vacations dept.) ||The front desk and Capital Vacations don’t cooperate/communicate. We booked through Capital, but the reservation wasn’t accurate on the hotel side. I spent so much time at the front desk and lived out of my suitcase for 4 days due to room changes.||Room wasn’t ready to check in until 6 even though checkin is 3. No pool towels available. “Come back later.” Not able to make change when I tried to pay for a drink. “Come back later.”||Dirty coffee mug in room. 1 mug for a room that sleeps 3. Shower leaked across the floor because shower curtain is shorter than the doorway. Worst lumpy pillows.||One guest had her clothes stick in a locked dryer that wouldn’t open. ||The key reader on the gate to the beach is broken and doesn’t allow re-entry. ||If it was just 1-2 issues, it would be fine. But every point of contact with this place was astonishingly poor customer service/customer experience.
