Came here for a wedding, it was a great place and beautiful scenery. It was pretty HOT outside from what I’m used to, but a great place to be. The water was bright and beautiful and the breeze was very good as well. Highly recommended.

We wanted a place on the water but not full of sand, a place we could bring the dog the whole time, and a place with a lot of outdoor space to use what vendors we wanted. This was the perfect option.

We had mini golf and an ice cream truck, we used the entire property, and the dog had a blast with everybody. The only true downside is it’s owned by the county so there are quite a bit of processes/rules to follow but being able to have the option of so many vendors was nice for the unique wedding activities we wanted. People said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to.

There’s also a TON of photo spots. Too many to fit in to the couple of hours. We will definitely be back to take photos that we didn’t have time for.

My fiancé and I wanted a venue that allowed us to make everything our own. This venue gave us that and more. In the beginning, there was a little miscommunication but once we figured things out it was smooth sailing. Danielle was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to help me out and make sure all paperwork was ready for the big day. She coordinated with my wedding planner and the day truly was a success. It rained a little before the ceremony started and the staff there helped my wedding planner dry everything and get it looking amazing again.

I’m not one to write reviews. However, this one is needed. I wasn’t the groom on this wedding but being one of the groomsmen I saw how terrible the experience was for on my friend. We could not enjoy the wedding and the whole time the venue manager was being incredibly unprofessional.
My pregnant wife was helping the Photo Booth crew know where to setup and Ms. Jacquelyn came in screaming at her for no reason. My wife had nothing to do with anything and was lending a hand. This unprofessional manager began screaming at my pregnant wife stating that she needs to get everyone in order. This was because the groom along with the friends helping with the wedding contacted her asking for help because people were walking into the private event. They asked her to do her job. This manager never bothered to introduce herself to my wife and nor did she bother to ask whom she could talk to. Instead she proceeded to yell at my pregnant wife. My wife then began to panic attack and even the Photo Booth people were kind enough to help my wife leave the scene. This ruined our night as all my wife wanted to do was leave, but we stayed out of love for our friends. Through out the whole event there were multiple issues that followed. Staff dresses unprofessionally, and missing listed items in the contract. Lastly, I know the place is old, but you can clearly see that they don’t spend time keeping it alive. There was a ton of water damage and rust all over the place. I would caution anyone from using this place. Weddings should be magical and should be fun. The bride and groom shouldn’t feel like they have someone looking over their shoulder all the time.

This is a beautiful place for a gathering however you must rent all the items to create it. The 3 small rooms inside the mansion are not good for large crowds so a tent in the back is suggested. The views are stunning and the surrounding parks gorgeous. I think it's great for the smaller occasion. All services are a la carter and have to be hired

Beautiful park and something for everyone! Nice walking path along a pond with plenty of wildlife. A childrens museum which was unfortunately closed when we went due to it being a Sunday evening but looked cute. A small beach area with a splash pad and boardwalk and a nice path that leads up to the Tuckahoe mansion which was also closed but absolutely beautiful just to walk the property. And is also pet friendly for your fur babies.

Green River played in the open air band-shell with the beautiful water Views as background. Boats zooming by in the background. Sun shining. Pelicans flying overhead. Families, Couples & Singles- ALL WELCOME including leashed Pets. Spacious Grounds offer plenty of room to wander. Mansion was not open, but was able to still wander around the perimeter. Food & Beverages were available under the Tent. You'll Enjoy this Venue for sure. Plenty of Parking made access to & return from my car quick & easy. Highly recommend any Event at the Mansion. 👍
