Stayed for a week for MLB spring break. Quick ride to Port St. Lucie. The room was spacious. The pool area was nice. Food service was also good. Bartender was great at the Latitudes poolside bar. Great location near the water. Got to use the beach access around the corner. I would stay here again.

My disappointment began with a new Marriott upgrade policy. When I checked in, I asked for a courtesy upgrade as a longtime Bonvoy member. (On my last stay, I had been upgraded to an oceanfront room without charge.) I was told that a new policy mandated a $100 surcharge for any upgrade other than the room originally reserved.|We were upgraded to a partial ocean view room in a spare, bare building with what looked like an unfinished lobby. |The restaurant was out of several items we ordered, and while we were given a complimentary appetizer, the food itself was barely average.|On the plus side, the location of this resort is wonderful; it is right on the ocean with an on-site golf course. Still, there are better options on this lovely island. Next time I will try one of them.

There are some nice qualities to this resort but also a number of things that need to be considered.|Pros: Beautiful beach. Great for walking, sitting and playing.|Nice big room - we stayed in a one bedroom condo|Large bathrooms|Convenient parking.|Golf available.|Quite- Peaceful |Bartenders are trying their best with limited staff.|Room for Improvement: Rooms desperately need renovations. Bed long ago needs replacing. Stains on carpet and furniture. No staff .. one person for towels, the beach and pool. Front desk always had a line. Pool bar by beach closes at 5pm. People willing to pay for pricey drinks but it’s closed. At least a 15 minute drive to any restaurant. Marriott status is not recognized. Being charged for an ocean view room on the first floor. Stretching your neck you can see the ocean. Mainly looking at shrubs and the roof of the pool bar.

I had the pleasure of visiting Latitudes Pool Bar recently, and I must say, the experience was made even more unforgettable thanks to Nolan, the bartender. From the moment we arrived, Nolan’s energy and professionalism were immediately apparent. He greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to ask what kind of drinks we were in the mood for, offering creative suggestions that were spot on. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and it’s clear he takes pride in his craft.||Not only did Nolan mix the perfect cocktails, but he made the entire atmosphere at the bar feel so inviting and relaxed. He was attentive without being overbearing, making sure our drinks were always topped off and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time by the pool. His friendly demeanor and quick service really set the tone for a fantastic anniversary weekend. ||It’s rare to find a bartender who combines great skill with such a genuine, personable touch. He remembered our names every day too! Nolan truly elevated the experience at Latitudes, and I can’t wait to return!

Honest review here. I will never recommend this place to anyone. For what appears to be a luxury resort is not even remotely close. Where do I begin. Ok the rooms were spacious so I will give you that but not worth the price point. They have no complimentary breakfast. When I asked the front desk one morning what options there were they said the Baja Grille and a pink building that has breakfast items. They said it opens at 7. I went to the pink building at 7:05. No one there. Then finally someone walks in says hey I just got in and I’m gonna need at least a good 20 to 30 minutes to get ready. I was like I just want coffee to which the lady said didn’t you just hear I got in I didn’t even start that yet. Never again. The pool is old and dirty and stained. The pool food is honestly really greasy and crappy food if you call it that. I’m not exaggerating here. I’m trying to be nice. Then the final kicker was I came home to put my 21 month old to bed only to find a full on like 20 piece band playing so loud I was like what the heck is going on. I call downstairs mind u this was around 9:40pm and they tell me sorry we have a wedding going on quiet hours aren’t until 10 so you just need to deal with the noise. This is not a resort. This is a standard hotel that is way overpriced. If this is a vacation you are looking for this ain’t it. And even one morning I was like I must be missing something because this just doesn’t seem right and then I go on the website of the hotel and it says they just did a 50million dollar renovation. I’m literally shocked and wondering where the money was spent because nothing appears what it seems on the site. Honestly never again. Also update. Now 10:34. Live band still playing at this wedding. So instead of the property management relaying to a wedding party that their normal quiet hours are 10, the lady says to me we were just told that the band and wedding is now going until 11. Total mismanagement. I can’t even. If I could get a refund I would ask for one. How about anyone staying on the premise when you know you booked out your property for a wedding tell your guests that prior too so that way they can make the decision whether they want to stay at a “resort” where they have no regard for their customers. Seems as though they’d rather piss off everyone and take a weddings money rather than accommodate their guests. This place. Absolutely unreal. Never again. STAY AWAY.

We stayed at this Marriott 2 years ago. It needed updating at that time. The good news is the rooms are much better and the staff is excellent. Nolan at the pool bar is fabulous. He gave us great service and good advice about where to go outside of the resort. We were disappointed about no bikes and no shuttle to the beach. Joseph, the waiter for breakfast is excellent as well.

This is the oddest Marriott I have stayed at yet. The furnishings in the room are nice although the building is older and has a weird roof in the hall area that flaps in the wind loud enough to be heard in the bedrooms.
We were actually able to use a suite upgrade & were upgraded to ocean front which we appreciated & had a very nice view. Our initial room had the ice maker right outside the bedroom window but they agreed to move us to another room.
The staff was fine - relatively efficient but nothing stellar.
The pool area is old & in need of an overhaul. It is stained rather badly and therefore looks dirty.
As platinum members, we received our free breakfast for 2 - the worst excuse for a continental breakfast imaginable. It contained very limited choices and the pastries were terrible day old gas station quality. We were told we could upgrade to the full hot buffet for $10 per person. At any Marriott that we have ever stayed at, if a full breakfast buffet was offered we received it. Is it really worth losing loyal customers over a few dollars worth of eggs and bacon?

Beds and room super comfortable! Enjoyed having balcony w view of golf course although view of pool looked enticing and private and I would book that next time. |I stayed in main tower. Beach was 10 min walk to marriotts Sandpiper property. Played aqua golf, pickleball, swam in pool and ocean. Lots of large shells on seashore. |Marriott provides chair loungers and umbrella on beach. Latitudes (the tiki bar) had very good food for lunch/dinner. Enjoyed chatting w/bartender Nolan who provided excellent service. Can’t wait to return! |Con: no microwave in room.
