My family enjoyed our stay at Anna Maria Beach Resort! Our room was great, the bed was softer than I personally like. The zero depth entry was fantastic for my daughter. The pool was heated which was great for cloudy days. The location is beautiful on the beach! Hoping to be back soon!

A resort is meant to have amenities, entertainment, dining options, room service, some basic amenities by the pool deck such as water, an attendant or sunscreen. This “resort” is more of a 3 stars hotel. Not because it is poorly maintained, it’s actually in very good repair. But it lacks of everything what guests deserve when they are paying $912 for a room per night. At that price for what was delivered I give this hotel -5 stars. We did enjoy, but the experience and value was not delivered by the hotel.
I find it absolutely wrong that there is no ice machine and that you have to drive .5 miles to their sister property to get your own ice… they give it to you from a chest freezer. How about if they get their own chest freezer (amazon has $100 options!)and they keep ice ready for their own guests so the inconvenience of driving is not even an option. No vending machines? No bar? No pool bar/service? Sad!
TV had only 3 channels. Kidding me? We are not in the middle of Antarctica!
Check out is 10am and check in is 4pm. Thank you for the early check in and late check out, we appreciate that this was accomodated. Still, I haven’t seen such an early check out and late check in from all my travels and 20 years managing and working at different hotels myself. It takes away from the expetience and the time you can actually relax l (minua the time going to sister properties to get ice or going to mini marketa to buy baaic thinga like a coke, which I trust you should offer as a basic offeting for your guests who just drove X hours to your hotel (we drove 4hrs to find out you guys dont have any F&B)).
The room was spotless and nicely decorated. Pillows are incredibly thick for such a soft mattress. Bed sinks in the middle.
Now, selling water in the room at $12 a bottle? No comments. If you were to sell at $6-8 probably you’d sell so much more volume and capitalize on water sales. Opportunistic approach considering you don’t sell anything. It should be the other way around, offer 2 complimentary bottles of water like most hotels worldwide do, and the rest charge on consumption. Not very hospitable.
Pool deck repair and beach access is great. Underused, could benefit from basic f&b and service… again… at $912 some water dispensers would be welcome! Oh yeah, I have to buy water because hospitality is not a thing at this “resort” so tab water is not offered.
Anna Maria Island overall is beautiful. Beautiful beach and small eateries across the island. I trust this hotel can or eventually will do better. In the meantime I wouldn’t stay here again and I would enquire on any of the above things before booking here.

I recently stayed at Anna Maria Beach Resort, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, with stunning beachfront views and easy access to the beach! The accommodations were top-notch—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond, providing outstanding service and making sure every detail was attended to. The resort's amenities, including the pool, and recreational activities, were fantastic and well-maintained. Location is great. This resort is right on the beach/water. They set up chairs/umbrellas daily in an attempt to claim some real estate for guests, which is much appreciated on a busy beach. We experienced a few communication and room upkeep issues. When we arrived, our contracted room was given away so they offered us the nicest room at a discount. The room was still ~$900/night. Our room was only serviced once out of a 5-day stay despite repeated requests. It's a nice resort but definitely not priced accurately for comparable locations throughout the world.

I love the West Coast of Florida. It has the nicest people and a great relaxing atmosphere, unlike the East Coast where I am from. We have been coming to the West Coast for over 30 years and this is our first time in Anna Maria. My wife calls me manly but....when it comes to traveling, I am a princess! I love clean comfortable rooms. The bed is a top priority because that is really what you are buying. This bed was top notch. Soothed my old aching back. The bathrooms are very clean and it has a great little kitchenette with a really decent sized fridge and freezer. When you think of Florida, you think of heat but when it comes to AC, most places have ACs that struggle. I thought it was funny to see that the thermostat went down to 50 degrees. Most AC systems in Florida can barely scratch 67 let alone 50. I set it to 50 and turned the ceiling fan on. It was 58 degrees in the morning! We slept like babies.
The rest of the hotel is beautiful. The pool is one of the nicest we have been in. Access to the beach is a breeze. This is a top notch resort and worth every penny. You don't feel like you have overpaid. Spend the few extra dollars and treat yourself to the best Florida has to offer, West Coast wise.
The resort was remodeled in 2019 but feels like it was this year.
I really didn't want to leave a review so I can keep this little secret to myself but.....if you are manly but have some princess in your blood......this is your place on the beach.
Also, I would highly recommend renting a golf cart as parking around the island isn't great. The resort has a golf cart parking area.

Excellent service starting from check in with Mark at the front desk. Our room was amazing and the bed was so comfortable! The heated pool was great even on a chilly night. Super clean resort all around. Great place for a nice weekend getaway even if you are a local. Also would recommend catching dinner at Beach Bistro which is a 3 minute walk away. Amazing!

We had an amazing vacation to Anna Maria and this resort is a must!! It really gives a tropical resort feel and one of the few actually on the beach. This is my new go to Florida vacation spot; small town vibes, the fooodd!! (Waterfront & Beach Bistro)and the resort put it over the top. Mark at the front desk was really good too! It was a great experience and I will be back!

Might be one of the nicer places on the island, as far as hotels go. Beautiful views, friendly staff and plenty of parking. Room very well equip with everything you need. Only two issues/complaints: 1. There was some hair on the pillowcases 2. There was some adult behavior going on in the pool one night and though I know the staff can't see everything and babysit adults, it is slightly disconcerting to have to leave the beautiful pool with my daughter as we were both uncomfortable and I did not want her to see this behavior. Other than that, great stay and would return.
