Southern frills is an incredible wedding planning business! Going into wedding planning, I was so overwhelmed planning from 6 hours away from where I was getting married, but Kelly made everything so easy! Kelly is the sweetest, most organized person you’ll ever meet! I’ve gotten so many compliments from guests that we’re at my wedding saying that it was the smoothest running wedding that they’ve ever been to. Kelly organized my entire wedding this past April. When my husband and I got engaged, we knew we definitely wanted a planner that could help us from start to finish. Kelly was just that! From our very first meeting with her we felt so incredibly comfortable. She has a way of being professional but still incredibly personable. Her vendor recommendations were SPOT ON. She was able to also come up with creative ways to keep us within budget but still provide us the wedding of our dreams. When it came to the actual day, I can not even being to describe how indispensable she was... however, I will try. First, Kelly was able to create a perfect and detailed timeline and schedule that she personally gave to all the vendors and coordinated to make sure they understood it. Second, she was able to make herself the contact person for all the set up, venue, vendors, and family so if we needed ANYTHING she could get it to us. The entire time from photos to ceremony to reception to leaving she was there in the background making sure everything went seamlessly. If you are considering a wedding planner at all - DO IT. Kelly is the reason the wedding was even possible. She is incredible.

If you are asking yourself if you need a wedding planner, you are not alone. We thought the same thing. We are very organized and thorough people; first thought was we could handle this. After working through the beginning stages we quickly realized that organized does not equate to expertise in the wedding business. That is where Southern Frills comes into play. Hiring them was the greatest move we made in making our wedding a success. From the consistent email support, to the month before dedicated meetings, to the day of, they are hands down amazing. Their expertise allowed us to craft an unmatched group of vendors that handled what we all worry about, weather getting in the way of the wedding.

With Maddie’s direction, the vendor team was able to transition our beach wedding to indoors without missing a beat. Our guests raved at how amazing everything looked and didn’t even realize it wasn’t planned to be indoors. Even more important, they handled everything, we were able to concentrate on our guests and the day instead of the details. If you are reading this you are most likely looking for a planner, I can’t express enough to stop looking, you have found the right one. They will take your vision and make it a reality, and if the unexpected does occur, they can handle it.

I planned my 40th birthday party out of state in Destin, FL. from NC. I hired Kelly/Southern Frills to do the setup for my actual birthday celebration party. Leading up to my birthday event, Kelly was very responsive in communicating with both me and the venue! I was naturally nervous planning an event from out of state, but Kelly put my worries at ease. She was very flexible to accommodate last minute additions, even volunteering to print photos to add to my ambiance, and to bring pens for my last minute table games, which she printed for me! I only sent her the files! Upon arrival at my venue, I was blown away when I entered the room! Kelly and team had brought my entire vision(pinterest board) plus some to light! Everything was absolutely beautiful and stunning! I was extremely pleased! When I tell you everything was perfect, everything was PERFECT!! I received a ton of compliments from my guests all night! Everyone loved everything! Kelly was a blessing to me and helped make my 40th everything I imagined!

I was a lost bride to be who knew nothing about weddings or even the fact that I needed a wedding planner. After one call with Southern Frills I felt like they were a close friend of mine in minutes and they worked with me every step of the way during the wedding planning process. I worked with Kelly and Maddie for the first time a couple weeks ago at a wedding I was the photographer for. They communicated so well with me leading up to the wedding making sure we were good on timeline and the plan for the day; on the wedding day, they were efficient, calm, attentive, and on top of things, despite the rainy weather that could have made the day stressful.
