My wedding was exactly what I was hoping it would be and even better thanks to Kristina, Wendy, Aimee, and the rest of the team at Weddings on Sand Key! We had both our ceremony and reception for over 100 people on Sand Key and everything was so beautiful, it truly felt like we were on our own private island with our loved ones. The food was amazing, there was plenty to drink, tons of space to mingle and dance, and they made it very easy for my other vendors to use the space. I provided my own decorations ahead of time and when I arrived at the venue the day of everything had been set up perfectly. All of our guests said they had never been to a wedding like it at all because of the beautiful and unique environment and it was truly a night that no one will ever forget!

I’m a wedding dj, so I know wedding venues inside and out. Kristina and the crew over here are so amazing. If your wish is to get married on the beach then you have to check out Sand Key and Honeymoon Island. They are my favorites. Just check out these photos.

Romantic Honeymoon Island and Weddings on Sand Key Beach just killed it! Thank you for all of your hard work and precision. We had our own bathhouse for guests which was amazing! The food was just outstanding, and the staff made sure us and our guests were never without.

I was told the price would not change for this venue when the contract was signed. Despite written confirmation no additional charges would be incurred they emailed us stating “Hope you are doing well and are enjoying your holiday!…we…have increased our prices for all our services effective immediately.” It was a cost increase over 20%. Agree to terms with them at your own risk. I would simply look elsewhere.

My husband and I were looking forward to using their services for our vow renewal to celebrate 16 years of marriage. I sent an email asking to speak with someone because we had a couple of questions. However, we were ready to book. I left voicemails for Kristina P. (snap shots of phone calls) no response. Then today I received an email stating:
"Dear Angela,

We understand if you have decided to select another venue to host your Wedding Day, that's okay!

Keep us in mind for your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and your family farewell brunch all with a view that will be remembered for years to come.

Thank you kindly,"

ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! Mind you I just called them for the THIRD time on Friday the 26th!!! If they can not communicate by answering a few questions, why would we shell out $8,000.

My fiancé and I were excited to have our wedding at Sand Key, but after putting down the deposit (and a lot of phone tag to do that), they raised prices 20%. I would not recommend this venue due to the poor management, poor communication, and how they treat their customers.

Perfect place for a sunset wedding. A one of a kind experience having your wedding reception here, it's like having your own private beach, so beautiful at night!
