Excellent place for information of the surrounding areas. It's fairly new so it's expected to be nice. Very well maintained by the staff. Has a great view of the water. If you aren't familiar with the area, these folks can help you out

Great splash pad, sounds side swimming area, and visitors center.

Good place to gather local information. There is also a nice park and splash pad for little ones. The host concerts in the park during the summer months. This sits on the sound and has a small beach area to enjoy the water. They also have a dock to fish off.

This place has lots of local info, always clean. Behind it is a special like spot with a small bridge over the water, always little minnows here. Beautiful view of the bay, a great spot for pictures. Also to the right perfect family barbeque area, outside electrical outlets. Great for birthdays and get together or alone time.

Beautiful park around the information center. There is a children's splash pad, children's park, picnic areas, and fishing in the sound. The sound is a body if water that runs between the Island and the mainland. Mostly salt water. The splash pad closes down at 5:00 p.m. each day.

At the time we went here, the visitor center had shortened hours because of COVID; but there is a nearby park, a short pier, and a great view of a beautiful bridge. It was unlike anything I'd seen in South Florida. It was absolutely beautiful!! The water is walkable from the park and there are a few benches/places to sit. The "pier" or dock is narrow but then again I don't think it was built with COVID in mind.
