Our captain was amazing and funny! I unfortunately forgot his name. The ride was very fun and informative as well. Just know your feet may get wet and you may get splashed a bit. That didn't bother me at all. We did the mangrove maze. The only wildlife we found was a raccoon but the ride through the mangroves was still a blast.
Also we were late due to bad traffic for our reservation and they worked us in on the next boat! They could have easily said we were out of luck.

Very well run. The 1st airboat ride around the mangroves was great, very informative Captain. The 2nd one i thought was on Grasslands but was very similar to the first. Not great to see large cats in such small enclosures and Charlie, the large Gator hasn't been out of his cage for 5 years.

This was a fun adventure. The staff is very friendly, clean restrooms. We chose to do a private tour so it was just the two of us on the boat. Definitely make sure you have sunscreen, bug spray and a good camera. Rob was our captain and he was amazing. He was funny, kind, very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. I give Rob a 10/10.

Captain Jack's was fantastic. They have multiple activities and you can pick out choose. We went out for an airboat ride and a buggy tour and had a great time. The guides were informative and helped make the adventure feel safe. And yes, we saw a black bear.

Wow this was one of our favorite highlights of our Florida trip! I will say, triple check the address where you need to be, because there are a few different landing spots and parking lots in the area and we made the mistake of assuming we knew which one to go to and waited for 30+ minutes for anyone else to show up lol.

But when we realized our mistake, we made it to our airboat tour and had a blast! The tour guide was fun, interactive, and really wanted to make sure we had a good time. You got to really pick up speed on the boat, as well as cruise through the mangroves. We did get to see an alligator and the guide made sure to circle around it for a while so we could all really enjoy it. BUT! Even without any wildlife sighting (never guaranteed), it was a blast and we wanted to go back and do it again the next day.

We definitely recommend heading to the gator show down the road too. That was a fun experience And they had a cool gift shop, plus the chance to hold baby gators!

Not quite as exciting as hoped but the mangrove tunnels were great. We walked up and got on the next available boat (we could have reservation online pick a time-slot but we weren’t sure when so we just walked up when we arrived). Boats have two rows of 3 people each so you might have to split up.
It is not as noisy as we expected and the two-way radio headset are good.
I think some drivers are much better than others - we saw one airboat do a donut and heard one guy telling jokes while getting on the boat (but others are more careful and factual … so a little less fun).
