We had a wonderful day driving the Go Cats into the Ten Thousand Islands on March 13, 2025! Russ was a very gracious host and superb guide as we enjoyed the back bays and open waters! He was always concerned with our safety and enjoyment during the whole trip, making it the highlight of our family’s visit to Marco and Naples. We recommend the 2.5 hour trip because, once you’re out there with the birds and the dolphins (we saw many!), you won’t want the adventure to end!! 👍👍

Great trip we did the 2.5 hour trip with Dylan. He is a the best guide we have ever had on the Go Cat Boat Tour! We have only went once. We saw dolphins on our trip this is a great way to tour the thousand island area. Boats easy to handle and Dylan if there to instruct you as needed.

We did the Eco Boat Tour on a Saturday afternoon in late December 2024 out of Collier Seminole State Park. There was no one at the state park gate but remember to pay your entry fee. We visited for our excursion with Go Cats On The Water but there was a park ranger driving around on a golf cart asking folks for their park receipt or proof of payment.

At the time, they offered 2 tours, a shorter eco tour and a longer extended one where you go out onto an island and have food. Sadly we were afraid we wouldn't have time so we did the shorter tour (looking back we should've opted for the longer one).

Our tour guide Russ was amazing! He definitely wanted to make sure we were all having an amazing time. The Go Cats weren't too hard to drive but took a little getting used to. My wife and I had boating license from VA and MD so we weren't strangers to boats. You get a lot of practice turning slowing through the mangroves before you get to the more open areas.

It was 100% worth the cost. We booked our trip months in advance. It looked like they were fully book for our date. I think our kids said this was the best activity we did on our entire 2 week winter break trip. Russ did mention that they were getting ready to move out of the state park and would be based somewhere further north near Naples. Unfortunately with the other launch point there wouldn't be the maze of mangroves like they did here in Collier-Seminole State Park. We didn't see much wildlife but the activity itself of driving the Go Cats was amazing and the scenery couldn't be beat going through the mangrove mazes. We would 100% do this again and even better to experience it out of a different location like in Naples. However I do believe you are drawing for 2 different crowds. We liked the see the Everglades and Ten Thousand Islands Nature aspect but can see how there would be appeal for being somewhere closer to town and focus more on having fun by going fast.

We also didn't notice too many mosquitos but that may also have to do with the time of year we visited. This would probably be much less of a problem if you were departing form downtown Naples etc.

A group of four of us took a trip with Dylan as our guide on December 7th 2024. We had an excellent time! Dylan was a terrific guide. He made sure everyone was having a good time while keeping us safe.
These boats are so easy to learn how to drive and are a blast to operate. This is the perfect way to see the nature and wonderment of the 10,000 islands. Because of the depth of the water, you would be normally be limited to a kayak or paddle board. The big boats simply cannot go where these cats can go. These boats have a 50hp motor and they really can really scoot. We covered a lot of water distance in a short amount of time.
We had multiple dolphin sightings. They swam right up to our boats. We also watched them feed on fish in the shallows by chasing their prey up onto the beach. At the end of our trip we even were able to see a manatee. I highly recommend this for adults and older children.

Our second time with Go Cats. This time we brought our own group of 10. Dylan was our guide. He was filled with fun facts and kept the group entertained and safe. Love the new location in Goodland. We even had many dolphins join our trip throughout. Definitely do the 2 1/2 hour trip if you can. Time well spent. And, after the trip, many local restaurants all within walking distance to have lunch/dinner and enjoy local entertainment.

I had the pleasure of riding in the same Go Cat as Dylan on my 2 hour tour on 2/23. He was so informative and answered my endless questions about the dolphins (I was over the moon to see them so close!), mangroves, and oyster beds. I want to thank Dylan and all of your team for sharing the Mangroves with all of us tourists! I'm sure it's a double edge sword! 🤣

My family and I had a great time on this tour despite the fog that rolled in before we could complete it. My two sons who are in their 20’s both enjoyed driving the boats more than they thought and were pleased with the speed. I will do this again with other family/friends in the future!
