Quaint little motel with a great staff.
I was evacuating from Venice Florida because of Hurricane Milton.
I accidentally came across Motel 82.
I was safe from the hurricane and the room was perfect.
I want to thank everyone at Motel 82 for making someone completely new to South Florida, running from a Hurricane feel welcomed and safe.😀

Stopped here on my way to Ft. Lauderdale area. Nice little quiet place off the road. Had semi truck parking. Rooms were very clean and looked to have been redone recently. Would def stay again!

They turned us away during an emergency evacuation due to hurricane Milton because we had dogs and we had three children with us in pretty sure that's illegal if it's not it should be

This is an okay Motel. Good-sized room. It's clean and has a refrigerator, microwave with a table to eat at. No tub standing shower stall. The room had tile floors so it's easy to keep clean. When we entered the room you could smell that it was freshly cleaned. Sheets were very clean blankets were clean but the beds are a little on the soft side not very firm. My daughter and I stayed on a Sunday night. It was quiet as it's in the middle of nowhere. You can park right in front of your door. There is a rather nice sitting area under the trees in the shade in front of the Motel. My daughter said she saw a grill to cook on. WiFi is a okay 👍

I admit: I had some trepidation at first. I laughed when I read another review, "The cleaning ladies are nice." But I took a chance - and I'm glad I did.
What are you looking for? It's not a 5-Star Motel - but I give it 4 Stars ... because: It's very clean, the lady who owns the place was very efficient and accommodating. Someone said "impolite". That's not true.
The motel is simply this: a place to sleep comfortably. Our room was newly painted, the floor was new and very clean, the shower and bathroom were clean and neat.
It's simple: I didn't pay much for the room.
My arrival impression was not good. I didn't know what to expect but my trepidation was quickly allayed.
Yes, I'd stay there again.

Been calling this place for about one hour to find out if there are rooms available for the weekend. Finally a lady picked up the phone very rude, no hello or nothing, I asked for rooms and she immediately said we don't have anything and hanged up on me. Definitely not a good customer service in this place. Might want to think twice before going there.

We are from okeechobee and work in felda and sometimes to save on time we stay at this hotel. The owner is a wonderful lady and she is really kind. Service is awesome and housekeeping does a wonderful job. Rooms are really clean. We love this place. It's quite and peaceful and is a very well ran business. I recommend this motel to anyone that wants a clean quite and peaceful place with great hospitality. I give this motel 5 stars!!!

Tried to book a room with this lady she was very rude she said we couldn't have our service dogs which is against the law that she was allergic so all she had to do was have somebody else clean the room I'm sure she's not that lonely that she's the only one there that could clean the room when we left. So I reported her to the Ada which could result in fines and all kinds of other stuff so I hope they get on her and then maybe next time she won't be so rude and she'll follow the law
