We had a great time kayaking with Erin! It was my mom’s first time kayaking, and it was just the two of us. Erin was extremely knowledgeable and was patient. We did a 9:30 am tour. Erin caught a comb jelly right away and let us hold it, and knew a lot of facts about it. She then pointed out many more for us to see in the water. She also caught a mangrove crab that we got to touch and pointed out many birds and plants. We saw green herons, a great blue heron, and a tri-colored heron. She pointed out an osprey with a fish in its mouth, and a brown pelican. She knew many facts about birds and mangroves, and taught us things about the mangrove ecosystem. Unfortunately we didn’t see any dolphins or manatees, but it was still a great trip!

It was easy to book tickets.
The customer service team sent me plenty of confirmations and updates.

The kayak tour was easy ... can be done by anyone.

The kayaks are very stable on the water.

Expect to get wet feet and a bit of splash on your clothes.

We saw lots of birds, rays, horseshoe crabs, mangrove tree crabs.

Kayaking through the mangrove tunnels was exciting.

We had a great time doing tandem kayaking with two our kids. Our guide Erin was amazing, very patient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to hang out with. The kayaking through the mangrove tunnels was a fantastic experience. So glad we decided to stay at Cocoa beach and explore kayaking during our trip to Disney/Universal.

Erin provided an excellent tour, assuring us that, if we got lost in the mangrove tunnels, she’d make sure the boats would be retrieved. Seriously, she took the time to retrieve aqua fauna and gently return it after we all had a look. Anyone who kayaks regularly knows that a proper leave-no-trace ethic is hard to find. Guides like Erin are the total package!

I can warmly recommend Adventure Kayak, I did two tours with them, and I saw them engage well with everyone, from children to adult beginners to experienced kayakers. Cameron was an excellent guide, and so was the other whose name I sadly forgot. Both guides had a background in natural sciences and explained in great detail what swims, crawl and flies around the mangrove forests in Banana River. Finally, I was also impressed by their equipment (kayaks/paddles/PFDs), which is much better than what rental/tours companies typically have. You will enjoy your tour with this company.
