I will never use another caterer in the south florida area again! Island Kitchen was 100/10 from the day we started talking. The process of menu selection, to answering questions about what we needed to provide vs not, was all so seamless. The day of the event was magical -- I cannot tell you how many times people told me the food was incredible. We did an all passed menu, which was perfect! Island kitchen also provides their own mobile cooking unit, so there was no mess inside our house. They had plenty of staff that were staffing our event. I never once had to ask what was coming next or worry about things going smooth - they are professional, attentive, organized, clean, respectful and just amazing! I love Island Kitchen's clean and beautifully presented food for all occasions. I have experienced IK on the beach in Nantucket, rented the food truck for End of the Year school parties and also contracted IK to assist with food and service while hosting small groups. Zach and the IK Team did an impeccable job providing cocktail and dinner catering for our 140 person wedding. The carefully curated and unique menu impressed all of our guests! The hors d’oeuvres selection was varied (12 options!) and packed a punch in each bite sized goodie. Dinner was buttery soft tenderloin and flaky parmesan crusted halibut; I watched guests clear their plates! Sides served family style helped encourage conversation and connection. People are still telling us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever eaten. The serving and bartending staff were polite, prompt and prepared. The planning process start to finish was easy and transparent. We cannot thank IK enough for bringing our beautiful wedding to life!!
