ANOTHER rate increase! Can't even get recycling here, so paying enormous amount for trash pickup one time a week. As others have said--they have a monopoly, so feel they can do what they want. Really wish there was an alternative!

If it's not in the bin they don't pick it up. 1 trash bag sitting next to your over filled can, no way are they getting out of their truck to pick it up. Recycling boxes broken down next to your bin, no way are they getting out of there truck. My trash bin is always half full every time they come and pickup my trash. They don't dare get out of their truck. Lazy and not the service I expected.

Aside from them leaving giants ruts in my yard and the one time issue we had with them not picking up for a month, they are a really great company! The Customer Service I received when I called to complain about those two things was amazing! They got the problems sorted out almost immediately.

Reliable Sanitation is NOT so reliable. They may have a contact to monopolize a village, town or city. Reliable Sanitation takes advantage of the opportunity. I receive a bill every other month. So they can charge their 1.5% penalties for profit. I received a a bill saying they'll suspend services as of 5-16-2022 unless 76.10 is paid. Ok cool. I only generate one 13 gallon bag of trash per 2-2.5 weeks. Single person. Totally not worth $20 a month. Then I received a bill, even though my service was "suspended", to pay $114.80. lol... what kind of business is that? Hustle, scam, I think so. I have the yellow cards. The proof I need. With the stamps on them. Dirty business by dirty people. Cheeper to take your trash to the landfill yourself than to deal with "Reliable Sanitation". They are a joke!!!

Every big pick up day that rolls around reveals another disappointment. Call to talk about a problem and its avoided. No call backs, no emails about what happened or any explanation on why my items never get picked up. It's not construction material. Now I have yet another soaking wet pick up to drag back in since the incompetence of this company is so great. More times than not I wish there to be another company with a better service than reliable. Not only do you pay monthly payments to this company you also get to pay them again to take items to the dump. Last I checked you dont pay to give away scrap metal. You get paid to take it to a scrap yard. Pulling teeth is easier to deal with than this company. The name should be unreliable sanitation. I shake my head at this company in complete disappointment. If I could rate you at a 0 star that would be the best way to rate them. Hopefully in the future you guys can get it together and become a better business than you are now.

I noticed that my recycle was missed on Friday and I sent a message to them late that night. Not expecting to hear back until Monday, I got a reply on Saturday letting me know that they will come by Tuesday. I know it’s easy to overlook, but kudos to Reliable for getting back to me.

The name should be UNreliable Sanitation Service! They didn't show up again in Feb. to empty the dumpster. I still get charged every month. When they do show up they fly down my road, leave huge ruts behind, and always leave the lids open on the dumpster when they leave. When I call about not picking up I am told they have no way of proving the driver didn't pick up and there is nothing they can do about it. How about because your CUSTOMER just told you he didn't pick up the dumpster! I suppose when you have a monopoly you can not only charge what ever you want, but do what ever you like as well. Customer service isn't so important. Pathetic!

We have been recycling for several years and always brought our items to the recycling center in Waterloo IL. Off and on they have been rude to my wife. Tuesday afternoon on April 18th one of the women who works there was inexcusably rude and condescending to my wife. She has no business interacting with the public. Our recycling days are over because of this person's comments. We don't have to put up with something like that.
