We used First City Events for both day of Coordinator and DJ services for our Christmas wedding in December 2022 and they were an absolute joy to work with! Bonnie, Latia, & Courtney were a homerun and made my vision come to life. If anything went wrong, our guests and myself never knew about it. These ladies were professional but still very warm, down to earth women. We are so happy we went with them because once I handed off everything to Bonnie and her team, all my anxiety for the day melted away because I knew I could trust them with our most special day.

We also used Jeff from First City as our DJ and he was AMAZING! my husband and I are big music lovers and believe music sets 90% of any mood - Jeff delivered and then some. The dance floor was packed all night and he seamlessly kept all the reception events running smoothly, to include some untraditional traditions. He wasn't in your face and used his Playlist selection to drive the vibe of our wedding flawlessly. We have absolutely no complaints and would use First City again in a heartbeat!

Bonnie and First City Events are amazing! My daughter had her destination wedding in Savannah and we had only 2 months to get everything planned. Bonnie and her team made our experience totally stress free and helped turn her dream wedding into reality. They handled every detail and some that we had never even thought of. DJ Jeff and MC Tyson were the absolute best!!!! We used them for our sons bar mitzvah on 3/2/24. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. The dance floor was never empty!! Even the older crowd was on the dance floor. We told them that we had a party crowd and they knew exactly what to do! Mc Tyson was amazing with the teenage kids. During the cocktail hour he kept them entertained with awesome games. All of our guests could not stop raving about them either. I highly recommend.

Yes, you need a planner!!

Bonnie and her team were absolutely perfect! We live out of state and Bonnie was our eyes and ears in Savannah talking with our vendors and setting up meetings for when we visited Savannah leading up to the wedding. She worked with us for almost two years and we never felt overwhelmed or like we didn’t know what was going on. Having a wedding in 2020 was no easy feat and we know there was no way we would’ve been able to pull it off without an awesome planner. Bonnie went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We had to change our wedding date twice and weren’t sure if we were actually going to be able to have our dream wedding this year, but Bonnie assured us that things were going to work out and kept in constant communication with our vendors to keep everyone informed of the constant changes. We had to change our seating chart almost daily leading up to the wedding due to guest changing their pandemic travel plans and we could’ve easily been overwhelmed, but Bonnie helped us out every step of the way. Her and her team also made sure we were as hands off as could be on wedding day. The schedule she put together kept the night going without a hiccup. We had a dream wedding from beginning to end because of Bonnie and her team. Not once did we know if anything went wrong, she checked in on us constantly and one of the planners even spoke Spanish which out a ton! One of the bridesmaids dresses ripped and one of her team members sewed the dress almost instantaneously!

We used Jeff as our DJ and he was amazing! We gave him 2-3 requested songs and told him to play whatever will keep the dance floor packed - and he did not disappoint! Our dance floor was full the entire night and multiple guests complimented the song selections. He had great variety and was engaging with the crowd. We had so much fun dancing! We can’t recommend him enough!

Bonnie is absolutely amazing. She saved me.. literally..last minute with the pandemic going on and our previous day of coordinator canceling on us. She was so organized. Her and her team couldn’t have done a better job the day of my wedding and the days leading up to it. She was so incredibly kind and I suggest her to anyone getting married..pandemic or not. Bonnie is so hard working and is extremely detail organized. She asked questions I didn’t even think of. Thanks Bonnie and her team for being so amazing and making our wedding happen!

First City Events made our wedding day the most smooth, relaxing, & fun day that we had always dreamed of. Bonnie was an absolute joy to work with; balancing her expertise with having a GREAT personality. She handled our wedding party, who can be rather rambunctious, without a hitch. Our parents absolutely loved her & are still doting on her (& her team) to this day.

We also used First City Event's DJ services and were overly pleased with the entire ceremony & reception music! If I could, I would attach videos of how packed the dance floor was the whole evening.

Let's run it back once more, FCE! I would recommend you all 100 times over.

Bonnie is fantastic to work with! We use First City Events for our annual Hearts for Healing Gala and could not ask for a better event planner. Bonnie has great contacts with all the local vendors and carries a reassuring presence that removes a lot of the potential stress that is often involved in pulling these large events off. She thinks of everything, is very organized and responds quickly when you contact her. We highly recommend First City Events.
