My husband and I went to a Meet and Greet on December 22nd. It was such a unique and memorable experience!! Getting up close and personal with the Clydesdales was so fun. They are such beautiful and gentle giants. The experience at JFP Equine was intimate as it was such a small group. We loved hearing all the information that Barclay presented, explaining the history behind the development of JFP Equine and the stories about each of the horses. Samantha made a great photographer for all of our photo moments. Thank you both for the most amazing experience!!

Unforgettable Private Experience with Clydesdales!
We had an incredible experience at JFP Equine-Clydesdales in Waterloo, Illinois! We signed up for the “Meet N’ Greet”…a 45 minute petting and picture taking session. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate they are about Clydesdales and the rich history of their company. We had the privilege of meeting five beautiful and gentle giants, each with their own unique personality.
What made the experience even more special was that we were the only two in our group, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy a private session! Being able to interact so closely with these magnificent horses was unforgettable. Barclay took the time to answer all our questions, share fascinating insights, and ensure that we felt comfortable and engaged throughout the visit.
If you're looking for a unique and educational experience with these majestic animals, JFP Equine-Clydesdales is definitely worth a visit. We highly recommend it!

One of the best experiences I have had, if you love Clydesdales, THIS is the place to visit! I spent a wonderful couple of hours on my birthday, getting up close to four of these magnificent animals, it was absolutely amazing. Jim and Barclay Poole are great, they are both dedicated to making each person who visits feel welcome and they do a terrific job of answering any and all questions that someone asks about their Clydesdales. I highly recommend visiting JFP Equine if you have an opportunity! I look forward to being able to visit again soon!

We had a wonderful time visiting JFP Equine! Barclay and Jim Poole were fantastic hosts, and it was incredible to see the majestic Clydesdales up close. Jim’s long history with the Budweiser Clydesdales adds a special touch to elevate the experience. Highly recommend JFP Equine for anyone who loves horses whether it be a scheduled visit to their farm or an appearance at an upcoming event!

My husband surprised me for my birthday with the 2 hour “chore time” with the Clydesdales and boy did he set the bar high for future birthdays! Let me explain…first of all, the place is beautiful and well-maintained! We were greeted by one of the owners, Barclay, and immediately felt welcomed. We later met his father (the man that started it all) and you can just feel how much this family truly loves what they do and the appreciation they have towards their guests. We were personally introduced to Blaze, Ace, Captain, Fred and Cash. You can’t put into words how special it is to stand next to these gentle giants brushing them, petting and loving on them in a private, up close and personal setting! The photo ops were endless and the owners were extremely knowledgeable and kind. We even mixed up some snacks for Ace and Fred and fed them before we left! So, if you are looking for a unique once in a lifetime experience, look no further!! JFP Equine is my new favorite place and we will absolutely be back again and again! ❤️

Absolutely a must visit and amazing experience. Barclay and Samantha were incredibly friendly super hospitable with the entire visit/experience. My wife is a huge horse gal, and even though I wasn't the biggest horse guy, I definitely am now. These huge Clydesdales are breathtaking horses and getting to get a glimpse of what day to day life is like for them was so much fun! 10/10 recommend for anyone of any age and we are excited to book our next visit this summer!!

Wonderful experience today. Enjoyed the hands on grooming and giving a snack to a Clydesdale. We did the Chore Time experience. The horses are so beautiful.
