The Porter Room is a gem of a venue with great atmosphere! If you’re looking for a venue with that Lowcountry feeling with views of the marsh, yet keeping a modern vibe, this is the one. It’s right on the riverfront with big oak trees, spanish moss, and a really pretty modern accented building with huge windows that overlook it all. The building is a great size, able to fit plenty of people, and double as a rain plan that will keep a lot of natural light. One of my favorite things about it is the open patio which is located perfectly for golden hour reception photos. Huge fan of The Porter Room as a wedding photographer!

Very nice venue. You have your own bar and bar tenders, huge indoor space with glass doors ceiling to floor that can open up into a patio outside. Restrooms inside as well.

I reserved this venue in advance for my company's Christmas party, and what a lovely and spacious setting it was. Maya (Event Coordinator) was fantastic throughout the entire process, and she was always available to answer any questions or add-ons I had. We had to hire an outside vendor to cater the food, but that was fine because they already had a great list of vendors to choose from. The bartenders were also fantastic, as was their service.
The venue and the staff both contributed to the event's success, and I highly recommend it!

Great place to have a meeting. Loved the windows and natural light. Plenty of space for a large number of people. I wasn't sure where to park at first, but once I figured it out, there were plenty of spaces.

We had a wedding reception here and it was the most amazing time. This venue is perfect. We had a considerably loud band and with all the glass up it was perfect to hear them inside and also outside the venue but not too loud in the space. The views of the marsh gave us perfect pictures- and we didn't have to worry about weather since it has both indoor/outdoor capabilities. The bartenders and staff were also exceptional, we couldn't have asked for a better venue.
