Our wedding was in July and we've thought a lot about what to include in this review. Honestly, we were very disappointed in Ovation. They were very unorganized through the entire planning process. They put the floral order in too late, meaning we found out our very expensive centerpieces would not be executed as expected just 3 days before the wedding. The final version was very different from the inspiration provided and promised - see the differences in the attached pictures - our inspiration picture is the one with the full branches and lights. Not to mention, they tried to charge us $400 extra for the backup centerpiece solution. Finally, we relied on them to advise on the appropriate size of the stage for the number of people it would hold, along with furniture also sourced from Ovation. On the morning of the wedding, the groom was pulled away from pictures and our guests to help decide to remove the floral archway from the stage so that everyone could fit. Note, this archway was also sourced from Ovation. Ultimately, the entire ceremony was disrupted by the crowded stage. One final disappointment - also 3 days before the wedding, we were contacted by the "finance department" with an abrupt notice that they would be pausing all work on our wedding until the final invoice was paid. It turns out, Ovation sent two invoices for the exact same amount, due on the same date, which explains the oversight. Odd and not particularly customer friendly to organize invoices this way. While Ovation did try to overcome some of their early disorganization with free adds to the decor, it really didn't make a difference as they still ended up botching the key elements of the final execution. Would not recommend or work with them again.

**Update to business reply: Such an interesting response and different experience from the business... probably not necessary to dispute the many inaccuracies in this note as its tone does a great job of exemplifying the level of customer service you can expect. Unfortunately, we still stand by our review across planning, billing and execution. However, would like to clarify that the picture included was taken during the reception and is accurate to the final look. Secondly, we did not, at any point, request Kayla's presence at the event because of her delivery. Kayla's attendance was her own decision and a surprise to us on our wedding day. In fact, we spent an unplanned hour reviewing with Kayla's replacement staff the details of the plans because - and this is not a joke - this person's dog ate the plans the night before. Just one of the many gems we experienced with the Ovation team. Yikes.

Ovation Decor & Events provided the theme and decor for a Rainbow/Circle of Life Themed Baby Shower for our twins. We chose this theme in honor of our late parents. No detail was spared and I was quite literally filled with emotions, memories and tears when I entered the room. The event was so special. It was beyond my expectations! From the rainbow backdrop curtains to the balloon tree forest to the chocolate fountain tiki hut and the zoo animal print (on the inside when you cut it) baby cake! It was all amazing! 🌈 🦓 🦒 🦁 🌈
