The worst place I've ever stayed. It's ran by Indians so don't expect any cleanliness and they charge for everything. You can't get more than 3 towels at a time. They don't offer housekeeping service. West Dundee is in the middle of nowhere. You have to pay extra for better Internet. You have to request dishes and utensils. The rooms are bare. They don't have comforters especially in a cold state. My family and I will never stay at another extended stay again. Be aware and stay away.

Overall, the stay was good! The hotel is pretty quiet for the most part—honestly, my friends and I were probably the loudest ones there, lol. The rooms were great, with a kitchen and a pull-out couch in each one. If you’re on the third floor, you get a nice view too.
They offer a complimentary grab-and-go breakfast, but it’s pretty basic—just oatmeal, muffins, and Nature Valley bars. There is a vending machine with snacks, so that’s a plus, I guess. 🤷🏽‍♀️
The biggest downside was that the A/C didn’t work—not just in my room, but in my friend’s room too—so it wasn’t just a one-room issue. The TVs were also super outdated, and the remotes barely worked. The only buttons that worked were the power and channel buttons, which was pretty frustrating. Also, everything is at least 10+ minutes away, so we ended up doing a LOT of driving.
That said, we still had a great time and a fun weekend overall!

I stayed here for a few months trying to make it a temporary place til I could get back on my feet. They have ordinance laws provided by west Dundee town and that’s fine but I had an issue where you guys were unprofessional and stole my money

I was told after seven days I had been there I was good to book another week cause that’s how I would or help with family pay outright and have set up. I’ve been staying here since January FOLLOWING THE LAW but just having a busy mind and not paying attention to my stays. The next week I was told I met my 21 days which confused me and began to upset me alittle. so number one I was lied to about how long I stayed the person was not accurate but I know most systems are. When I tried to get Priceline to figure out how to switch dates or figure out a great solution, NOT ONE PERSON FROM THE STAFF NOT EVEN PROPERTY MANAGER answered anyone’s call to make it right. So for a full week having to pretty much sleep in my truck because 453 was taken. But it’s alright my credit card company is fighting it and because of this I’m afraid to stay at any other extended stay.

Idk what needs to be done besides what my credit card company is doing but retraining? Hire new people? Idk I work in foods and not hospitality but like I have NEVER had to go thru this

“I am writing to formally address the deeply disappointing and distressing experience my partner and I had during our stay at your West Dundee location on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025. This stay not only ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion, but it also exposed the severe lack of professionalism, respect, and care shown by your staff. I feel it is important to share this experience so that other customers are aware of what they might face if they choose to stay at this location.
From the moment we arrived, our experience was plagued by poor service and neglect. Upon checking in, we encountered Sam, the manager on duty, who was rude and unhelpful. We immediately noticed several issues in our room, including a flooded floor, a broken light fixture, a non-working TV, and a dirty refrigerator. When we asked for basic items like dishes or silverware, we were told that we wouldn’t receive them until the morning. Left with no other choice, I had to ask my husband to go out and buy silverware just so we could eat. However, even when morning arrived, nothing was provided to us, and we were completely ignored.
Adding to the chaos, Lisette, the night front desk associate, was even more unprofessional and dismissive than Sam. We attempted to contact corporate, hoping for a resolution, but Lisette became hostile and refused to assist us in any meaningful way. She was even combative with corporate guest relations agent, refused to accommodate our requests, and essentially left us stranded in an unacceptable situation. Furthermore, when we inquired about canceling our reservation, we were told we could only do so by leaving immediately, which is against company policy, as confirmed by corporate.
Throughout our stay, it became increasingly clear that the well-being of the guests was the least of the staff’s concerns. A follow-up call wasn’t made the next day to check if anything had been resolved. It felt as though the hotel was more concerned with enforcing unnecessary fees, such as the $200 fee if my husband didn’t provide his ID, than actually addressing our serious concerns or helping us with our discomfort.
We were treated with utter disrespect, and I am deeply frustrated that our Valentine's Day was ruined by the incompetence and apathy of your staff. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry and traveled extensively with Southwest, I have encountered many hotel stays, but this one stands out as the worst experience by far.
I also strongly encourage future guests to be cautious when considering staying at this property, as it seems that customer care is not a priority here.”

I’ve been staying at this bed bug infested facility for a little over two weeks now. WE’VE HAD TO SWITCH ROOMS A TOTAL OF THREE TIMES! the first time was because the heat didn’t work! Second time was because of a really foul smell in the room. The third and final room has bed bugs! We’ve told the front desk about it several times… nothing is being done. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

*EDIT* After reading some reviews below, it’s clear that management doesn’t care about the bed bug situation….

*DOUBLE EDIT* after speaking to “Sam” the extremely rude manager, she said that she wasn’t going to hear my concerns, and kicked me out as well as put me on the DO NOT RENT list! Listette, the night auditor stated that I can have my cat with me in my room to say that it was a service animal. Didn’t have me sign a paper or anything. Now they want to charge! I also think the pet policy needs to be specific!!! The manager told me that I had to call the exterminator and see if our room was serviced. Ummm…. Ma’am that’s YOUR JOB!

SEEMS LIKE THE MANAGER IS THE PROBLEM!… she also retaliated against me and put me on the “do not rent” list….

I spent 1 day in this flight. In the morning I wanted to extend it and was refused for unknown reasons. The Sam employee simply turned away and left. I have never seen such an attitude in any department. A disgusting place. I will never come here again!!

Positive: Price Negative: Carpets everywhere dirty and torn. No grounds keeper, trash everywhere. Door peeling apart. Refrigerator did not work. Walls paper thin. Drugs being used in the open. Only sheets for blankets in negative temperatures.

The room itself isn't bad, it's the services and items that were missing that caused this review.
Only toiletries that were provided were two small bars of soap and toilet paper. No mini shampoo, no mini conditioner, just two bars of soap.
The bed frame was missing a stilt so we had to put a towel underneath it so it wouldn't fall out from under us when we went to bed. There was an open electrical outlet with wiring and no covers to protect from shocks. The "blanket" was just a sheet, so it was so cold that I woke up every few hours.
I know it's an extended stay but gosh dang, a few standard items in a hotel room for those one or two nights would be the very least I would expect.
It apparently won't let me post pictures, so I can't show what we had to deal with.
