I had a decent stay at the Country Inn, where we booked the King Jacuzzi Suite. The room could’ve used a more thorough cleaning—there were stains on the mattress and curtains that looked like blood, which was off-putting. Management should consider spending a little extra on a mattress cover. The breakfast was underwhelming compared to other locations, likely because the person preparing it didn’t seem particularly friendly or approachable. However, he was diligent about cleaning and restocking. He stocked a bunch of half rotten oranges and stale English muffins.

One thing that stood out was the hotel’s many large signs with strict rules, including one that forbade taking breakfast back to the room. It didn’t make much sense to me—especially since I paid for both the food and the room, which has a fridge and microwave. Why can’t I enjoy my meal in peace and privacy? I've never encountered such a rule at a hotel before.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and they accommodated me with a late checkout. The location was convenient, close to shops and freeways. Overall, it was a no-frills stay, and I probably wouldn’t return.

First bedroom had stains all over the bed. Front desk guy was nice about it and gave us a new room no issues. 2nd one had a smoke detector completely detached from the ceiling and a pillow with stains but we just didn’t use that pillow. Breakfast cannot be brought back to your room. Otherwise hotel was fine for one night

I most often stay at Country Inn and Suites when I travel. This hotel is not up to the standards of the franchise. The clerk asked me if I was alone. None of his business. I have never been asked this before at any other hotel. They indicated that the plastic keys must be returned because "technology costs money." There was a sign indicating that you cannot take breakfast back to your room. Never had this happen before at other locations of this franchise. When I attempted to take a shower before leaving in the morning, the shower knob would not turn far enough to take a warm shower. There was hot water coming from the sink so lack of hot water was not the problem. I needed to be on my way and did not have time for them to fix it. I have never been unable to take a shower at any other location in this franchise. ||When I was leaving, the car next to me was too close to open my door and put in my suitcase in the backseat so I put the suitcase so that I could back up and then place it in the back seat. A gentleman, who was either the manager or an employee came running out. He thought I was going to "run over" someone's suitcase.

The hotel was clean and friendly. The rooms and hallways were old- they could use some modernization. Our room was right above the main entrance and we could hear the door open every single time. The hvac system, shower and hot breakfast were great. The staff was great.

The hotel is clean, breakfast was decent, not much around the area.

Our check in was a train wreck and the guy working there was didn't care at all. We booked a room with a whirlpool tub in the room and when we got to the room it wasn't there.

Beware, there are multiple websites that book rooms and the pictures show the tub in the room.

We tried everything with the employee and the website we booked, wasted almost an hour before we gave up hope of getting the correct room type.

It's not the worst. But it is not at all nice either. It serves its purpose of lodging and does almost nothing else. The employees weren't very personable. The hotel in general wasn't well kept and had a confusing layout. The breakfast was decent.

I was delivering a DoorDash order to this hotel last night as a guest who stayed here ordered food. I walked into the lobby and Daniel, the guy running the front desk stopped me and asked what I was doing. I told him I was going to go deliver an order to a guest staying there that ordered food. He said I couldn’t go up to the room to deliver it. I said ok, and I set it down on the front desk. I told him that I’m taking a picture of a customer’s order (not him or any guest or staff at the hotel, just the food), as I have to provide proof that the order has been delivered for every customer that I get. He gave me an attitude and said that if I took a picture that he would call the cops on me. I explained to him that I was just taking a picture of the order because it’s pertinent to my job and I have to take a picture to confirm the order. He said “yeah, I’ve heard that before”, “how do I know you’re really with DoorDash?”, and after telling him the process I have to go through when I deliver orders he finally let me take a picture when I moved the order I was dropping off to a table away from everyone. Daniel threatened to call the cops on me more than once simply because I was trying to do my job. I wasn’t bothering anyone, taking pictures of any staff or being disrespectful to anyone at all. Daniel profiled me and treated me like a criminal for trying to do my job. I worked in hospitality and customer service for over 10 years and I worked at a hotel and never once have I ever profiled anyone or acted condescending the way Daniel did. I really hope management can take care of this. The disrespect Daniel gave me was uncalled for and unnecessary

Positive: It was easy to find. It was fairly clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Negative: Everyone we encountered was friendly. Seems like the hotel itself could use a little updating.
