When we first walked in, the front is very nice and bright.
Went to the rooms, the hallways were clean. We got to the room and the room was very nice and clean as well. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was big and lights were bright. Pool area was great along with the hot tub but it seemed like some of the jets were broke.
The restaurant attached had good food and it was nice to have after a long drive coming from Minnesota.
The next morning, DONT expect to have BREAKFAST INCLUDED. The front desk ppl DO NOT tell you breakfast isn't included and you have to pay. The signs are small and will be missed. It's $14 per person. Yes it's a little nicer breakfast but it's the same stuff you can get from a hotel where it's included. When we went to the front desk to ask why they didn't tell us at check in about the breakfast not included, the lady said "well didn't you see the sign?" WELL NO THATS WHY I AM ASKING. All they told us at check in was the time for breakfast... It would be helpful to mention breakfast is at this time but it is not included in your stay. I even saw this younger family get up and leave because the lady asked if their check was together or separate.... PLEASE TELL YOUR STAFF TO BE MORE CLEAR ON THIS AT CHECK-IN AS MOST PPL DONT SEE SIGNS if it's not big and right in their face.

Pleasantly surprised! Updated room was lovely! Pool and hot tub are huge and fantastic. Hot tub could be hotter and jets didn’t work but there was a hot tub so a huge win! They actually still offered room service which I feel like isn’t all that common anymore and the restaurant (Bennigans) was great.

So we came in for a room at almost 11pm after driving all day from Tennessee and were absolutely exhausted. Even though the parking lot was packed they got us into two nice rooms and it was very quiet. The staff were incredibly nice and kind, locked myself out of my room immediately and they let us back in without being annoyed (wouldn’t have blamed them). My husband enjoyed the breakfast and we hit the road the next morning. Gave 4 stars on the location, it’s not a vacation spot but I’m pretty sure it’s convenient to Chicago and the airport (I would double check that if that’s what you need). Rooms were fine just a bit of wear but still clean and comfortable with some chairs to read or chat in.

I booked a room here to attend a wedding nearby. I was pleasantly surprised to learn I had a suite. Spacious and comfortable. We had lunch in the Bennigan’s before the reception. Food was excellent and our server was fantastic! After the wedding, we came back to the bar. Attentive bartenders and a great time. Overall, this is the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. Really great staff and accommodations.

I stayed at the property for two nights in March 2025 to attend a conference. The staff were great and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The Bennigans is an acceptable casual restaurant, their service was outstanding. We had mid-sized groups two nights in a row and they took very good care of us while being busy with other guests.

Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect.
The hotel was newly remodeled and so beautiful. The wedding block was easily set up and handled in the best way possible.
Kudos to the staff. Definitely a memorable wedding weekend. Thanks to everyone from the management to housekeeping and everyone in between.

The front desk was very accommodating. I wanted a room that was close to my sisters, and despite that the property was fully booked, he managed to get us on the same floor.
The standard of cleanliness was excellent.
The restaurant was a Benihana, and it has a large menu with many options.

Really great stay. Very clean, very comfortable accommodations. Super friendly staff have great attitudes. you can tell they appreciate their guests. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys quality, cleanliness, convenance and safety in their stays
