My daughter and I have gone to Cooking Skills Academy a few times over the years. This was a spring break entertainment opportunity. It did not disappoint. We are sushi lovers, and this experience was the absolute best. The idea of making your own sushi rolls seems daunting and a bit intimidating. NOPE! It was a complete blast! Alexander K is the most entertaining, knowledgeable, and quirky chef we have ever come across. He made the evening fun for everyone. I really appreciate your time and effort in making this event so spectacular. The venue was pleasant, clean, handicap accessible, and comfortable. Thank you. Looking forward to participating again very soon.

We had a great time with late night sushi. Chef was entertaining. Sushi was delicious. It was an empowering class that makes us feel like we could actually do this at home. Definitely will be back for another class!

Love these classes! They make for a really fun night out, a hands-on take on the ol’ “dinner & a show” except you go home knowing how to make something new in the kitchen. We’ve been to 3 now with 2 different Chefs and we keep having a blast and eating great food. I’m even looking into getting my company to do a private session as team-building event. BYOB recommended; I’ve noticed that you and your fellow classmates interact a little more when there’s some social lubricant flowing.

I went here for a bridal shower and I had a blast! It was different and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
I gave 4 stars because the Buffett food wasn’t as good as the food we prepared for the cooking competition 🤷🏽‍♀️

This has been a horrific experience!
Basically you’re not being taught cooking skills at all ! They refuse to give out the recipes what dishes are served !
Be at all not a cooking skill but an overpriced dinner show of stale and corny jokes and the kicker is that you will have to do all the cooking of the food ! The pre measure ingredients
Taking a cooking class involves knowing each ingredient, its amount and the process in which it be dish was prepared !
I have asked multiple times for the recipe and they have refused to provide they keep saying they are getting the recipe to be and when I’ve followed up it’s another excuse! when I took previous classes they passed recipes out ! I paid for learning to cook steak three ways and did not learn because I do not have the measurements or ingredients to the three steak dishes because they passed out all the ingredients and measurements and refusing to disclose the recipe !
I took the cooking class to LEARN and felt as though I have been CHEATED!Plan on reporting this business to the authorities to complain and get some closure a refund perhaps because this Company Does not care about their reputation or have the dignity or decency to do the RIGHT THING!Seems all they care about is taking your money and not providing a value for what you paid for ! I read the Merchants responses and they are LIARS ! Just beware that you are paying for an overpriced dinner show that sucks !
Buyer Students beware that you’re only paying for an overpriced meal !

Was scheduled for a class unfortunately had to miss last minute due to sick kid but Alex graciously packed up everything and gave us details on how to cook it at home. Very much appreciated. Hope to try again soon

Took a group of High School kids and had a excellent time, The teens learned how to make different Sauces and homemade Pasta after watching the Chef instructor and given a really nice selection of fresh incredients in which to make them with. The instructor was available for any questions to help the students as they were competing to complete their meals within about 22 minutes. I was really really impressed how quickly the teens took what they were taught and made some great Pasta dishes where as us adults made a decent sauce but we need to really work on are fresh pasta skills but it is truly fun. Also don't be confused when you arrive as the Design First shares the same entrance as the School🙃

We enjoyed the instrucional class to find new skills and recipes. It was a great date evening. The food was excellent and we had lots of left overs. We would definitely attend another class and recommend to people we know.
