We wanted to do something different for my 10-year-old's golden birthday. She's obsessed with animals, so we reached out to Liz at Little Cottage to see if she would be open to hosting a birthday party for a bunch of 4th graders. Pricing was reasonable and the experience was great! The kids got a lot of time on the farm and enjoyed meeting, feeding, and interacting with all the animals. Liz was patient but kept the group moving. They then helped out in the barn and each got ample time to ride the therapy horses. Elizabeth even had some jewelry-making activities set up for the kids while they waited. Overall it was a wonderful experience and definitely more enjoyable than the typical birthday party spot in town. If you have older kids looking for a new experience, I would definitely recommend the Little Cottage.

We have stayed at Little Cottage on the Farm twice, making it an annual spring trip! We’ve also done a family night in the summer and enjoyed an end of summer food and wine pairing event with friends! Elizabeth and Matthew make sure their guests are taken care of from small treats in the cottage on arrival to farm fresh eggs to cook for breakfast to recommendations for nearby adventures and dining. They have created a wonderful environment to make lasting memories for families. While helping with farm chores is optional- it’s a not to be missed activity for our children. They loved helping with feeding all the animals, cuddling baby goats, playing with the cats, mucking stalls, and having a riding lesson on Bob the horse! Elizabeth’s calm and caring demeanor helps kids feel immediately comfortable to allow them to ask questions and jump in to help. She is so patient answering questions and also educating her guests on the animals and daily farm life. Our children are already asking when they can go back! Thanks for another wonderful stay at Little Cottage!

This is our THIRD year staying at Little Cottage on the Farm, and it is by far our kids' favorite place to stay!!!! We will keep coming back as long as we can! It's the most incredible experience 💗💗💗 The farm animals are beyond adorable 🥰 The cottage is so cozy and it has everything anyone could need. The view from the living room is breathtaking and the sunsets are a showstopper!!! Elizabeth is such a kind and wonderful host ☺️ I'm so sad every time we have to pack up and go back home; it truly is a one of a kind, most magical experience that creates unforgettable memories!!!! 1000% RECOMMEND!!!

Our family did a mini private farm tour with Elizabeth, and it was so wonderful!Kids are able to meet and help feed the animals, and Elizabeth is such a wonderful host ,kind, accommodating, and patient with us. Wonderful little place. Would return again!
