Chef David is an excellent teacher and to even expand on this, he was a fantastic mentor in teaching our class not only the finer points of quality cooking but the importance of teamwork. I highly recommend taking a class to expand ones horizons.

OUTSTANDING! There’s just so much good that needs to be said and I’ll try not to make this too long but I HAVE to give you everything:

1. The experience was amazing. David has a great personality and such a high level of experience but also understands how to teach at a level for amateurs to understand. His warm character and down to earth demeanor made us feel like we were in the kitchen with a life long friend.

2. The teaching was superb. Being able to communicate effectively, watch attentively and provide insight and guidance is not easy while also preparing a meal in a timely manner. David was able to do all that and more. This is where you truly see where your money was spent because it’s not just a “show up, put in an apron and watch me” but it was indeed hands on and required you to learn. David is such a professional in this regard.

3. Welcoming. Quickly, his space was very welcoming and clean! My wife and I went but you can easily have a group of friends for a celebration or a class. We brought wine, he had a great playlist to add to the experience. Everything was clean and cozy. It was a vibe.

4. The food. It was truly incredible and so good. One of the key reasons I wanted to take this class was because of the menu which was unique to every other chef’s class I’ve seen in Chicago upon searching and it did not disappoint. The food was just flat out good. He brought dishes that I thought would be so complex and difficult to create on my own and made them so easy to cook. He provided us with resources and recipes afterwards and answered all of our questions.

I would highly recommend David, any day and twice on Sunday. He was great and it was certainly the investment! Don’t let the class fill up, book and you won’t be disappointed.

David and team came to our house this past weekend and prepared an awesome, gorgeous snd incredibly tasty meal. From appetizers (tuna tartar) to chicken piccata to dessert - all amazing. A magical evening!
