It was our first time in Arizona (We traveled from Philadelphia) and we knew we had to go and see the Grand Canyon. I called a couple times and asked a bunch of questions and every time I was given very helpful and informative answers. I was also recommended a certain trail which was the one we ended up doing. Drew was the best tour guide! We had a private tour which was exactly what we wanted. He made sure to call us to let us know how to navigate our way towards him and then our adventure began! We went down the Kaibab Trail to a certain stop point and from there we decided to go back up and explore some other points of the Canyon. He brought us to a lot of great scenic views to capture some photographs and a lot of historical sites to really understand and learn the history of the Grand Canyon. He was always able to answer our questions with thorough answers and fun facts. We stopped and had a delicious lunch and met up with another private tour group and we were all able to chat and enjoy our meal. After many stops to see the beautiful sights and learn the history we ended the tour with the gift shop and then back to our car. Drew was a true delight the entire day and really made our time there so fun and exciting! I recommend Adventure Southwest to everyone! Truly an amazing experience!

This was my first time overlooking the Grand Canyon. Years ago rafted the river and it was such a thrill to be able to look down at the places I had been.

Adventure Southwest takes small groups in a comfortable van. Our guide and driver, Robert, was interesting, entertaining and catered to our particular wishes. If we wanted to stop to see something or take pictures he was so accommodating. Also, we were able to see areas that were off the beaten path and not over crowded. We had time to shop, but didn’t feel that we spent too much time inside. I have taken other tours where the dialog was scripted and didn’t feel that the groups voice was listened to. Here Robert encouraged us to voice our opinions and listened and accommodated us. We were able to spend longer in areas that interested us and, which I love, get out and walk in remote paths. He knows the area well and we saw sites that would have otherwise been overlooked.

I felt I was pampered and the trip was for me! We were provided drinks, snacks and lunch. We stopped as often as we liked. What a great day!
