Carol and her team at Duffle & Compass created and executed the most perfect African safari trip for us. We planned a trip with Carol for March, 2020 and after only a few days on safari, we had to turn around and come home when Covid shut down borders. We were extremely disappointed, but worked with Carol to postpone the trip to March, 2021. Ultimately we decided that we would wait until March, 2022, to travel, and Carol was able to postpone our entire trip yet again. We only made it to our first camp, Londolozi, and loved it so much that we plan to go back there in 2022, in addition to the places we couldn’t visit. Duffle & Compass has been diligent on all the details of the ever-changing travel environment from the start, and we feel so grateful to not have to worry about a thing. Carol’s selection of places to visit, people to help us, and attention to every detail is amazing. We’re eagerly anticipating experiencing our full safari after getting just a taste of what we have to look forward to.

This was our first time using a travel agency to plan a trip and wow - it made all the difference. Duffle & Compass helped my husband and I plan our dream honeymoon to South Africa and also took care of all the logistics when we postponed it a year due to COVID! When on our trip, we felt safe and accounted for at all times by their local partners on the ground. All transfers to/from the airports and between destinations within the country were arranged ahead of time so we did not have to worry about a thing. Our experience with Duffle and Compass was incredible! From the planning process to the trip itself, Carol made our safari one of the most memorable, stress-free, and exciting vacations our family has ever taken.
Carol was so knowledgable about and had visited all of the properties that we stayed at. We travelled to Tanzania, and Carol made it easy to connect us with well regarded, beautiful, and bespoke hotels, camps, and tour guides. Throughout the process, she was amazing at following up and asked us for our feedback after the trip! I felt that Carol really listened to our desires and personalized the experience to create a unique trip that worked for our family (three teenage kids!). She matched us with a great guide, Zepha, who we got to know very well. His knowledge and personality was also certainly a highlight of our trip. Moreover, Zepha and other guides/camps placed incredible importance on safety. We never felt in danger and were able to fully enjoy our safari! We can't wait to plan another trip with Duffle and Compass, there are so many places to see!
