Brutal. Lack of flexibility, refund (full stay charges!!). Buggy website. Stillnhave to go through setting up my profile everytime I log in. Can't book rooms that says available. Wasting my time to fill everything up.
Saya breakfast included but isn't. Says loyalty points included but they aren't. Do yourself a favor and do not use this for your employees. Only good for flights comparison and booking.

Charge a fee each time you pick up the phone to call them. Customer service team has had multiple miscommunications regarding canceling wrong flight, not booking flights as requested and then charging fees to try and correct it. All of this resulted in higher airfare charges because my trips were booked in advance.

I am a travel arranger and I have to book hotels and flights constantly. There are constant issue with travel plans that Egencia does not allow me to resolve on my own without calling. It is absolutely absurd that I need to give the full name, email, and phone number for every traveler every time there is an issue. It is also absurd that I cannot use credits from cancelled flights on my own. It forces me to call egencia and have them do it. I understand there are reasons for these procedure but for people like me who are making bookings all day long it takes hours out of my time. There has to be a better way to do things. It is also ridiculous that any time there is an issue with a hotel Egencia tells me to call the hotel but the hotel cannot do anything because the booking was made through Egencia so they tell me to call Egencia. Making hotel changes needs to be easier.

The convenience of a travel profile in no way outways the terrible customer service. In January, I canceled a flight home while traveling on business because the client I met with informed me he had just tested COVID positive. No refund, the best Egencia could do is a credit with American Airlines. Last week I canceled a round trip because the facility I was scheduled to visit had a fresh COVID outbreak. Again no refund, Egencia tells me that is American Airlines policy and there's nothing they can do. Not so, in January the government was requiring airlines to refund canceled tickets, I don't know if that is still in affect. regardless, I thought using a travel company was so someone else was advocating for me, not reiterating policy. I have no clue if this is the airline or Egencia because the airline wont talk to me as I am not the one who purchased the ticket I am not their customer.

Had a recent run in with Lawrence Silman, the global sales manager for this company, and he is hands down the most vile and disgusting man I’ve ever met. I witnessed him berate and belittle a customer service worker for simply doing their job. It was just horrible, he was spouting off insults and swearing at this poor worker because he couldn’t get his way. I can’t attest to the company as a whole, but this Lawrence Silman is an entitled toddler in a grown mans body. He did all of this while proudly wearing clothing with the companies name and shouting his own name! Luckily we live in a society where a name and a company are enough to find someone. Take your business elsewhere, I know I certainly will be!
