It is hard to adequately describe my experience, except to say that it will be with me forever. I had the privilege of doing a 10 day trip down the Colorado with a magnificent crew.
The equipment and services, and food provided were excellent, and no doubt others could do as well, but I think the Canyoneer staff and their amazing crew, who guided us, led us, looked after, cooked for us, and who shared the lore and knowledge of their beloved canyon and river, are without equal. They, and that magnificent, magical canyon they guided me through, left an indelible imprint on me. I cannot thank them enough.

The best way to see the Grand Canyon is with the Canyoneers! No other commercial rafter on the river compares to their experience, boating expertise, and comfortable custom-made motorized boats. Prepare yourself for true camping under the stars and bathing in the river. We chose the hike out of the canyon up Bright Angel Trail. It was tough, but we trained for it. It was so worth the steep climb for the views and to then spend time on the South Rim.

We just returned from 5 days of rafting down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon with this company and it was superb!!! We chose the large motorized rafts and we were glad we did as they are safer, can carry more gear and food, and travel faster so we could stop and go on amazing hikes and still get to all destinations on time. Our river guides JJ and Kendall were very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the GC and told great stories of the early adventurers. The other crew personnel were amazing at how they worked non-stop to make sure we enjoyed the trip! The sights and furiously fun rapids, the meals and camaraderie, the whole experience we agreed was one of the best trips we’ve ever had and will remember forever!

Just an incredible group of people, from Laurie the owner who gave an excellent overview of everything the night before, to the top notch guides, especially Kolby and Summer, all were extremely well versed in the history of the Grand Canyon, the ecology, funny facts and stories, VERY GOOD food all three meals! They are very environmentally careful, and just fun! The side hikes, as they tell you, are as exciting and cool as the rafting;(maybe more)! Do it!, you won't be unhappy.

I can't say enough good things about the Canyoneers' experience/knowledge, attention to detail, and true passion for the Grand Canyon and sharing/creating an amazing experience with the Grand Canyon for its visitors.

The Grand Canyon itself, of course, is naturally amazing - but I wouldn't have had a fraction of the experience with the Grand Canyon without the guided experience through Canyoneers. Laurie, the owner, was incredibly thoughtful/helpful/compassionate preparing us for the trip. Our trip guides Ethan, Molly, Shoney, and and Amity were experienced, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about the Grand Canyon. Every single detail of the trip was masterfully thought out (ranging from food prep, rafting techniques, camping, etc.), yet there is still a level of inevitable unpredictability being in the Grand Canyon that makes the trip fun and adventurous. They also helped cultivate a comradery within our group of passengers (formerly strangers) that was cool to experience. Lastly, we had an astronomer on our tour (David) and he was so amazing! I had no interest in astronomy prior to the trip and my mind was blown listening to him talk about the stars, universe, etc. while camping under the stars at night - I literally bought several astronomy books the first day I got home from the trip. This trip changed me and was unforgettable.

I recently completed a trip with Canyoneers in May and the trip was great. They assisted us with trip modification due to unexpected issues and were able to accomodate both me and my son without question. This is the 3rd trip with Canyoneers and can truly say they are the best on the river and off the river. The guides are well trained informed with the nature and history of the canyon. The day hikes can be long but enjoyable. The orientation is very helpful the night before the trip to address all questions and to assist with any loose ends discussed in the provided instructions available on the website. One recommendation is good water sandals with closed toes as these may be the primary hiking shoe worn on the shorter hikes(Teva, Hoka, Keen type). This is a great opportunity to be with family and meet new friends. The food is the best. I ate better on the river than I did at home. Will, Summer , Shonie and Jason were our guides and they are great . Enjoy your future river trip.

I can't speak highly enough about their humor, compassion & willingness to support our group. While the canyon is truly life changing & breathtaking, it was the Canyoneers team that enabled us to form friendships, tackle whitewater & explore side canyons in a way I'll never forget.

While the Grand Canyon is no place for the faint of heart - with its icy water & relentless sun - there isn't a better crew to guide you through.
