I love Grass Room DTLA! I am a wedding photographer and I am obsessed with this space. I have documented many celebrations here and always leave wanting more. The Grass Room is such an amazing space to host a wedding or any other special celebration. It's a literal concrete jungle—as it has an awesome tropical green house vibe, while being located in the heart of downtown LA. I had the pleasure of planning and coordinating a wedding here, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Dana, Clare, and the rest of the Marvimon team made the whole planning process so seamless for me and my clients. The venue itself needs little to no decor, as it is gorgeous on its own—but we had a lot of fun personalizing it to create a fun and unique vibe for the bride and groom's special day. GrassRoom is the perfect venue for all the concrete jungle vibes! We are wedding photographers and obsessed is an understatement when it comes to this venue! Every corner is a moment and you can get nice views of DTLA right outside.

This is hands-down one of my absolute favorite venues to photograph weddings at in Los Angeles! The staff is always a dream to work with (seriously, above and beyond helpful), the venue layout makes it so easy for me to document everything without missing a beat, and of course the venue itself is just gorgeous. My couples choose it because it offers such a unique backdrop in LA -- love that "urban jungle" vibe -- and I've always heard good things from the newlyweds afterwards. It's such a gem in this city! I photograph at a lot of different venues and see everything behind the scenes, and honestly I cannot say enough good things about the Grass Room and all of the other Marvimon properties as well!

I photographed a wedding reception at Grass Room DTLA and it is the most stunning space! The eclectic decor and indoor/outdoor space makes for the most unique and beautiful setting. The space is built in with beautiful lush tropical greenery, so you can dress it up or keep it minimal!

I recently photographed a wedding here and it was such a modern and unique venue! Perfect for small & low-key weddings. The manager was SO nice and helpful (and even walked me back to my car!) and the whole day went off without a hitch! If you're an artsy couple who likes city and urban jungle vibes, DEFINITELY get married here!!

Great crabby chic venue in DTLA, I used to for a corporate conference and exhibition, a little bit tired in the detail but definitely a great quirky venue for an offbeat event, photoshoot or video location. Be warned though, it is in a very poor neighbourhood with a lot of homeless all around so guests or logistics in and out of venue needs to be managed.
