We recently moved our startup office to Carr after touring 10 different coworking spaces in and around DTLA. Highlights here are the location (on top of the metro, lively neighborhood with a ton of services), the staff (Kathrin and Peter are friendly, responsive, and accommodating), and the atmosphere (professional without being stuffy). I highly recommend.

I never want to leave! Last winter we rented a couple of offices for a few months while our permanent offices were being remodeled. Kathrin and her team were so welcoming and helpful. We loved walking into that space everyday. The open lobby was so pretty and warm yet modern. I loved the free coffee and shared space. Our individual offices were bright and well appointed. The business center and mail was all convenient. I'd highly recommend Carr to anyone looking for office space! It's great. GO check it out.

I rented a small private office at Carr for a few hours so that I could take calls in a quiet space while I was in town for a conference. Everything was brand-new and clean, and I was pretty much the only guest so it felt like I had the whole space to myself. Great location on the Bloc and great amenities like free coffee. The receptionist who showed me around was also very informative and kind. Definitely using this place again when I am back in town.

I rented a private office for a day because I had a virtual medical school interview on a Monday after traveling for the weekend away from home. The office is very nice, well-decorated, clean and they have a kitchen area with tea, coffee, etc. The rooms were very quiet. Check-in was smooth. Very professional. Would recommend.

I recently rented out an room in this office to take the California Bar Exam in early October. I was extremely nervous about the prospect of having to take the bar exam online and was anxious about whether I would be able to find a quiet office space to take the exam. My experience here was amazing and exceeded my expectations. There were no interruptions during the two days I took the exam. It was extremely quiet and everyone adhered to the social distancing guidelines in the common areas. The kitchen has a Starbucks coffee machine and a cute living room and dining area to eat your lunch - which was really nice to have during breaks and the lunch hour. I would highly recommend this space to anyone needing an office space right now!

What I appreciate most about the Carr Workplaces DTLA office is its responsiveness and consideration of the needs of small business persons like myself. I feel like I know the business manager and front-desk staff personally. Confidentiality and customer service are cornerstones of my business, and the staff have been extremely considerate in ensuring we find solutions. Others could only give me a national support number or let me know about inflexible policies established by someone higher up in their chain-of-command.

Do be aware, however, that Carr has some additional costs as compared to similar businesses I have worked with. These include "restoration fees" (in addition to the deposit), fees associated with hanging artwork, and a list of fees associated with all of the services included in signing. The high costs of these services do not always reflect the value of what you receive.

I was lucky to get a great deal at CARR Workplaces. I use it for 3 months as I was starting my fundraiser “Love And Compassion Movement”. Also I used it for my new business. The office spaces, restrooms and common areas were always cleaned regularly everyday. If you are thinking in starting something fresh and new in your life I recommend CARR Workplaces as you are navigating your new start. The 7th Metro station and Starbucks and other eatery’s located below. Thanks again CARR Workplaces for allowing me to use the office space to start my new start during this pandemic. The best time is now.
