We were looking for a Lake Michigan fishing charter where we would have the boat to ourselves, for my wife and I with our 21 year old boys. We were very happy with the entire process, from the ease in transferring the deposit, the easy to understand texts leading up to the charter, into the day of.

We arrived at 440am and headed out. We landed 10 coho, 3 steelhead, and 2 kings, while missing a big king and a couple lake trout.

We had never been on a charter like this, so naturally we were full of questions, which never discouraged Capt Rick. The entire day was such a pleasure, and we went home with about 50lbs of salmon filets to share with friends and family.

Capt Rick's setup is truly top notch, with dozens of reel combos and hundreds of lures, as well as state of the art computers.

We will be back next year!

I've gone out with Captain Rick a number of times, every single time has been a blast. We've always come home with a hall and frankly learn something every time we go out. I would recommend Captain Rick 8 days out of 7, he's truly the man.

We had a great time and caught our limit! I estimate between 20-30 lbs of coho salmon in my freezer. Hope they all taste as good as the first one.

Captain is very knowledgeable and likes to educate you as you reel them in. The day flew by as we had lots to talk about on the way home. If only that king salmon didn't get away. Guess I'll have to book him again and go after that one.

This guy is amazing! He's incredibly conscientious given the recent concerns with the coronavirus. He knows his stuff and you will have a great time with him. Overall, we caught nearly 200lb worth of salmon and trout.

Had a great day out on the lake with Captain Rick, we scheduled an 8hr trip and had a blast out there. We didn't catch out limit with the four of us but as they say we are fishing not catching. I appreciated the fact that Captain Rick even took time out to learn history of buildings and landmarks on our path so to fill in time that was slow. Very awesome captain and even though we drove from Indiana to fish here (1.5hrs) I would recommend this charter and Captain Rick to other friends. Overall great time and would do it again.

Best fishing trip I had with my sons. Captain Rick took care of us from start to finish. Due to Covid our trip had been postponed a month, but it was well worth the wait. He did his best to give us the wholesome experience. He's got a treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom that he will share throughout the trip. We learned a lot as well as catching a lot of fish. He's very professional and takes pride in his business. I highly recommend him over anyone. I would love to book again in the future.

We had the most enjoyable afternoon on the lake with Captain Rick on Thursday. Landed 9 nice salmon and missed 4 others. Captain Rick runs a top shelf operation and we plan a return trip with him.....nice boat, great equipment as well as a safe and clean environment. If i could rate him higher than 5 stars I would!
