PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not send your loved one here! Rather it’s short term or long term! My mother had surgery and had to rehab at this facility, she wasn’t showered, gave a bath or anything! My mother is verbal and not disabled! She told the nurses she was wet several times and their response was “you’re not wet”! When I brung my concerns to the “director” she said that I was making false accusations😂😂 HOW ? i can go on and on! The director was focused on giving my mother her pain meds so that she wouldn’t be a bother to them! As of today , it will be a week on weds that she has been there and no one has bathed her! Everyone is very welcoming and my mother is happy to be there. The facility could use some work. The faucets and water temperature were not workig. The kitchen sink faucet is rather flimsy. But overall, our family is pleased with Cantata.

From a visitors perspective, it's a VERY clean friendly facility. My aunt has been there for a few years and she has been very happy with her little apartment (room). It would be nice if it was a little bigger, but she seems happy. Staff is awesome and their food always looks good when we come to visit when she's eating. Would recommend for a loved one.

My father lived here for over two years. He moved from his out of state home of 30 years so I was concerned whether or not he would feel at home. He loved it here! The staff was wonderful, there were activities to participate in, a good meal each day and lots of nice residents. The facilities are well kept and the grounds are lovely. He was in the independent living facility - I recommend it highly.

Our church group has been doing a monthly visitation at Cantata (previously British Home) for many years. The Activities staff is very helpful and friendly. The nursing staff are also very warm & friendly. The care of the staff with the residents is also very obvious as the residents are always cheerful and upbeat. We never hear any complaints. We love visiting there.

They treat you like family here. This place is been around for a while and no one has the British Home. They have changed their name to Cantata.

In comparing our experience with other rehab nursing home centers, I have to give the British Home the four stars. Not only are they very clean, but are very communicative with both my husband and I about his needs now and in the future in their facility. The physical therapy department is run with compassion but with strong will to see their patients improve. The staff, as a whole, are professional, yet compassionate, kind, and even cheerful. They are always there to answer my calls or answer questions, or call me back and actually do call me back. They give me the name and phone number of staff I need to speak to (social work, physical therapist, nurse practitioner, doctor, nurses station, etc). Unlike other rehab facilities there was no problem in their arranging transportation for my husband’s radiation and chemo which was very important for him to continue even after his fall. All the staff, from top to bottom, work very hard to see to their patients needs. I’m sure they are all also short staffed at times but the patient does not suffer from it as he did at another facility. They answer his call button promptly and do whatever they can to make him more comfortable. I guess, in the end, the best recommendation is that if we needed to go to a facility again I would go to the British Home.
