I worked with Kate Reavey as our wedding coordinator for our ceremony and reception in Chicago in November 2022. Kate was amazing to work with and we received a rental credit to put towards items we were looking at using for our reception at the Chicago History Museum. We rented antique lounge furniture for the cocktail reception space which fit perfectly with the vibe of the museum and with our colors and motif. We also we easily able to rent votive holders through them which helped to offset purchasing them ourselves our attempting to go through the florist or a decor company. Kate and everyone with the company is a dream to work with and made it so easy to relax and enjoy our special day! 100% highly recommend!

Choosing Arcana Vintage Rentals was the best decision I made when planning my wedding. As soon as I came across their furniture options I knew I wanted to use them. The furniture and decor was just as pictured on the website and really brought my venue to life. The couches and chairs we rented not only added charm to our venue but were comfortable as well. We received so many compliments from our guests! We also enjoyed not having to worry about bringing in as much of our own decor elements. The team is fantastic to work with. I can’t say enough great things about Kate. She is kind and professional. She was very accommodating to my requests and always quick to respond to my emails. I had been nervous about the logistics of delivery and pick up due to my venue’s narrow timeframe but I had nothing to fear, as Kate coordinated everything and was there to oversee the delivery which was right on time. The team that delivered and picked up were professional and well organized, ensuring that the process was seamless. I highly recommend!!

Arcana has an incredible selection of rental items thanks to Kate’s impeccable taste. For our wedding, Kate helped us select a cake drum and goblets that fit perfectly into our theme and tablescape. She helped us coordinate delivery as well to ensure that these items integrated seamlessly with the rest of the pre-wedding prep. Absolutely recommend Arcana for any wedding rental needs!!

On the day of our wedding, she was there from start to finish. She had this emergency Fanny pack on her with all this extra stuff in it like pins I am pretty sure.. she also did the bussle thing for my wife in about 4 seconds! She organized everything from start to finish, made sure we were taken care of. In the bridal suite after the ceremony, she gave us instructions on when we get introduced, how to cut our cake, everything that we probably didn’t even know about she told us. At the end of the night, before we were leaving, she gave us our cards, which she counted and labeled the amount to make sure we didn’t lose any!! The next day, everyone who had been to so many weddings even told us how perfect everything about the wedding was. There was nothing wrong with the flow, timing, it was perfect. They said that all the events or weddings they went to, at least one thing with timing or coordination seemed to get messed up, but because of Kate and her team here, our wedding had no errors made!! If the guests saw the perfection as much as the couple, you know they know what they are doing.
Honestly, we can go on and on about how perfect everything was. At the end of all of this, my wife and I consider Kate a friend and not just a planner. There is absolutely nothing negative to write at all about her and the team. If you are newly engaged, and you read through all of this and are looking for a wedding planner, contact them now. My wife and I can promise you that you will not be disappointed with any of it.
