If you're planning a trip to Safford, Arizona, especially for the Mt. Graham Hill Climb, the Best Western Desert Inn is a fantastic choice. Its central location puts you within walking distance of the town hall and a variety of local eateries, making it easy to explore the area. ||||The hotel's breakfast was satisfying, providing a good start to the day. The internet worked well, and the room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a queen suite, which was identical to the one we've had in previous years - a pleasant coincidence! While the rooms may be a bit dated, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the second floor is nearly complete. This suggests that future stays will be even more enjoyable. ||||Overall, we had a great experience at the Best Western Desert Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Safford. This hotel may not look like much from the outside, but after a remodel the rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. It's not a 5 star hotel, but the price is inline with the room and more reasonable then other hotels in area. The staff is nice (multiple visits) and breakfast again is reasonable for the price.

This hotel was worth the money. The only complaint I had was that we couldn’t lock the bathroom door. But since my kids have a rule of knocking before entering it was fine. I thought the staff was accommodating and nice. I also left my mirror there and they are sending it to me. They contacted me to tell me and are sending it to me on their dime.
That was kind!

The rooms weren't too bad until the last night stay, my mother was sleeping and a cockroach fell in her mouth. When notifying the front desk about this all that was said is that they couldn't do much because our room was booked through Expedia. ( Not sure why it matters where the room was booked) Very unprofessional there is no reason for that kind of statement. Will never recommend anyone staying here.

The service was very good! So was the room, and where the hotel was for us, near stores and the main rode to go to Thatcher to meet with family. It may have been a little better to be closer to Thatcher, but we still liked it a lot!

I enjoyed my stay here. Room is clean. The fridge is cold. The bed was comfortable. The room is spacious. There are plenty of linens. The breakfast was pretty good. The staff was friendly. Plenty of parking. I can't find anything to complain about. Would stay here again, good price
