Hiring Dani as our coordinator was the best decision we made. I am type A, extremely detail oriented, and had a vision for everything I wanted. But none of it could have came to life without Dani’s expertise - whether they be vendor recommendations or any general planning tips. Any time I had a question she was very prompt to respond to my email or text; always providing a solution or willing to reach out to a vendor on my behalf. On the day of, Dani kept us on timeline (because I’m that type A that I had it memorized), and overall executed every detail seamlessly. 7 months later and I have friends and family still acknowledging the influence she had on our day.

Where do I start?! When I needed a day-of coordinator for my wedding, I turned to one of my best friends, Bridget, who helps to run a wedding venue in Virginia. She immediately told me about Tara and how seamless it was to work with her company at weddings in the past, and after speaking with Tara, her calm presence and her plethora of knowledge made me very comfortable to choose her for my special day. She was very responsive and communicative, and I was able to be fully present and enjoy a day I worked very hard to put together. Our wedding was simply magical... so much work was put into our wedding weekend and Danielle made it so easy and did a great job at easing our minds. When I tell you my jaw dropped walking into our reception venue... Danielle, and our vendors that she provided for us, understood everything we wanted in our wedding. And speaking of vendors, Danielle was able to provide a list of vendors that she has worked with and who are insured, which took a lot of stress off of our shoulders. Not to mention, she did all of this throughout her pregnancy, truly a super human. The only thing that is sad about getting married once, is that I will only work with Danielle once.

Our wedding was the most perfect day and none of that would have been possible without Danielle. Thank you does not even begin to cover it. I should preface my review by stating that I am NOT always an easy person to deal with- I am very much a planner and control queen in my daily life, and trusting someone else to be this person for my big day was a huge leap of faith. We knew Danielle from other weddings we had attended or been a part of but I wasn't sure if she could meet *my* organizational and planning expectations, as I was not a laid back bride with a "hands off" approach. I asked a million questions- sometimes the same question multiple times. Danielle answered me with honesty, grace, and professionalism every time. She listened and incorporated my ideas, vision, and style into my day, but was not afraid to let her experience and professional opinion supersede my own when it was for the better.
My original wedding was postponed the week of the event. I would not have accepted this news well from anyone other than Danielle. She knew what I would need to hear, what information and options I would want, and had this all organized and ready to go before ever breaking the news to me. We were able to re-plan my entire event within 48 hours.
Danielle is well respected in the industry and other vendors know and appreciate her planning style. She is able to command a room and large groups with confidence and everyone knows who is running the show! My wedding party and parents were appreciative of her no-nonsense directives during rehearsal and day of instructions to make everything quick and simple; while at the same time making sure every moment was fun and enjoyable. I did not feel we had a wedding planner that "just loves weddings"- we had a friend that truly cared about our experience with her from day one. She made sure we were having a great evening every moment of our event and I would go through all the stress and get married 100 more times (....to the same dude) if she could plan and coordinate every one. She was made for this!

Danielle/simply southern events is the best and so easy to work with. She goes with the flow and is extremely organized. She leaves the bride and groom out of whatever she can so that we could enjoy our month leading up to wedding and day of. I had no stress having Dani as our 2 month out and day of planner. She was easy to get ahold of and captured my vision so perfectly. We by no means had a super fancy reception. I wanted it very simple yet elegant. Dani captured just that and I could not have asked for a better night. She got all wedding activities out of the way in the beginning of reception which allowed use to enjoy the rest of the night with friends and family. My biggest thing was making sure Patrick and I ate. Dani promised and before we even sat down at our table our food was waiting for us. she works hard and I will recommend her to everyone I know! Thank you so much Dani for the best day/night. (:
