Went here for some beer and food on a summer evening with a friend who’s a member of this club. I was visiting her and we walked over the beach and then went to the club.
The food here was really good. But the best part is the ambience. The deck faces the beach so you can watch the sunset too. It was really good

Had my daughter's wedding shower in the Canterbury room. Everything was exceptional. All of our guest enjoyed the experience. Service was phenomenal and the food was perfect. Some guests commented that it was the best filet they ever had. The view was awesome. It was a rainy, chilly day and they lit the fireplace which added a really nice touch. Everyone was accommodating in every way. This venue had everything.

My husband and I recently got married at MSC in July 2024 and it was the best decision we made in all of wedding planning! Everything about the club was exceptional - the food, the service, the atmosphere.

Leading up to the big day, our menu tasting was very organized and fun. We were able to try so many different courses and of course types of cake, which were all delicious. Our guests told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Our wedding cake was the best part, all thanks to the amazing pastry chef, Chef Jennifer.

The service was extremely professional and everyone we worked with at MSC were so kind and accommodating. All of the wait staff, bartenders, and especially the banquet captain were so amazing the entire wedding day. They were always around asking us if we needed anything in the getting ready room in the morning, helped to set up all of our decor (which was so helpful!), checked in with my husband and I throughout the reception making sure we were able to eat/drink, and someone even helped fluff the back of my dress before I walked down the aisle (a moment I won't ever forget!).

Lastly and most importantly, Irene Aceves (Director of Events and Catering at MSC) made our day go off without a hitch all thanks to her. She is a huge asset to the club and goes above and beyond in her role. She gave such amazing guidance, planning advice, and answered all my questions/emails throughout the planning process. We would not have had the spectacular day we had without her. Thank you!!

Our wedding reception was hosted at the Michigan Shores Club, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. MSC provides the perfect backdrop for a classic, traditional wedding reception.

Director of Events & Catering Irene Aceves is a huge asset to the Club. We appreciated that Irene cheerfully helped us with every step of hosting the event and was there the day of our reception to make sure everything ran smoothly. You can tell she really loves what she does.

Dessert Chef Jennifer is phenomenal, as well. We couldn't be happier with how our cake turned out. All the food was delicious, in fact. We were told by a few guests that our reception's food was "the best wedding food I've ever had."

Our guests had a fantastic time and the photos turned out beautifully. We are so glad we had our reception at Michigan Shores.

Renovation has added a lot of clean lines and a more inviting atmosphere. The service is still extremely friendly and accommodating. We went for a quick after NU football game late lunch and it was fairly quiet at the club.
