Came to this location Saturday 3/15. Drove 3 hours to arrive with a previous appointment made. When we arrived we found out that the systems were down due to the storms the night before. Which isn't their fault and I understood. What I don't understand and is 100% completely their fault is not having common sense to maybe call or text the people that had appointments to let them know the systems were down so we don't waste our time. We still got a text that morning confirming the damn appointment.

Make an appointment, bring all the stuff you're supposed to, be friendly, and it's fine. Nobody enjoys going to the DMV, but if you do your part, they do theirs. All good.

It is an atrocity that a person has to go online for an appointment. A lot of disabled and elderly people do not have the means or understanding to do this. A person I know went in one day to get new license as she had just turned 21. The facility was empty except for the employees. She was told to go online and make appointment. No one was there. To me this is unbelievable! People there getting paid and doing nothing!!!!!

I Had no idea that you don’t have to pay taxes on some government vehicle purchases. Only had to wait for 10 mins in the shade. Saturdays seem to be less busy than weekdays. Congrats on passing your drivers test also.

Walked in to renew my drivers license with nobody waiting and was told you have to have an appt now. The next appt was an hour and they told me I would have to wait even with nobody else there and 3 workers just sitting at the counter. Would rather drive 20 miles to a different location than to deal with rude customer service.

I just left from there the worst place ever!The lady “ helping” me was RUDE & racist towards me. Told me my bank statement was FAKE and couldn’t use it for verification of address. That was given to me by my bank! They seem like they don’t want to help at all would definitely not go there if you need anything!!!! If they had a brain they would probably take it out and play with it.

Worst service. I’ve been here TWO times now. First time I was told I’d be escorted out over a smart comment made at me. The second time the super old guy at the front is the most unprofessional joke I’ve ever seen. Come on Williamson county. Let’s look at how people do with customer service before hiring them … currently driving all of the way to Carbondale due to lack of intelligence and respect these awful people have.

First time having an issue with a DMV like this.. I visited the Marion DMV a few months ago to title my motorcycle and order a new license plate for it on a Saturday due to my local DMV being closed on thr weekends. I wanted to go with a different style plate than the original Illinois plate. The lady working was very nice went over everything that looked correct and took 3 separate personal checks for the fees. Everything seemed fine until I received a phone call from them a week later telling me they overcharged me and they didn't need one of the personal checks I wrote them. I understand that kind if stuff happens and didn't think anything g of it. A few months later my new plate arrives in the mail and is was not the plate I ordered.. I went to my local DMV today to see if there was anything they could do to help correct this mistake and they told me there was nothing they can do but charge me for new plates and maybe call the Marion DMV to see if they can help more. I then called the Marion DMV to see if they could help me with this issue. The lady that answered was supper friendly and understood the issue I had and investigated their records to see what they had on file. She found that one of their employees made a mistake on the plate and apologized for the mistake but told me there was nothing else they could do and I would be ether stuck with the wrong plates or would have order new ones at full price.. it's frustrating that I have no help with this and am left out to dry.
