Beware!! Cool little motel 6, but I'm 100% sure they have bed bugs. Although I didn't see any, the day after staying here I had bites all over my legs and hands. It's been about 10 days and I still have itchy bites everywhere. If you do plan on staying here bring bed bug spray and spray the beds. Normally I carry some but it was late and we just needed to sleep.

The room was nice enough, although the octagon opening from the bathroom shower into the room was strange. There was a shower curtain, but still, not much privacy when using the toilet. The older man at the front desk didn't speak enough English to be able to communicate. Most concerning was the strange SUV parked at the back of the motel every night and, most of the day, engine running, people inside doing God knows what. There are no security cameras in sight out back.

Very nice outside. Very nice lobby. Excellent room! Love the Pet Friendly! Owner and daughter were very nice! In the morning a young man was cleaning the lobby. Look forward to next time!!

It's barebones but it was clean in the beds were comfortable. We had a room with two beds and just be aware that it would be very difficult for two adults to sleep in these beds they're very small. They don't look like double beds. You need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner Etc if you need an extra blanket bring that too. Everyone was very nice. Not a bad deal for the price but we need a place with bigger beds next time.

I've done so many reviews on hotels around the country it's fair to say I'm qualified to do this review. I'm honest to a fault.. now I've been here at this motel 6 for 4 days.. I absolutely love it! I cannot hear anyone in any other rooms unless I'm walking down the hall..I believe the walls are solid and I truly cannot hear people on either side of me.. my room seriously was spotless when I got it.. it's fair to say I've stayed at over 100 motel 6's and this one is now my absolute favorite! Managers are terrific! There spot on.. anything I've needed they've made sure I got it within minutes..the place is very clean..beds were comfortable ..the outside is also clean and they are at the moment doing landscaping, it's really looking nice..I can't really say why people put bad reviews, just either expecting the Carlton or are unhappy humans.. who knows, but it's wrong either way.. if I was the type of person to go by reviews alone I would have never came here and I am so glad that I did.. I'd say at least approach the building and decide from there, it is a very quaint and appealing motel..there's a little bitty airport in the back of it, dispensary to the east of it, it's a very nice and safe place to stay!.. I'd definitely recommend to all my friends and family traveling through here..⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The sheets were stained, there was pet hair everywhere, the latches didn't work. There was not much to like at this location. We were very disappointed.

Horrible. Not secure, filthy, and very loud. Absolutely did not feel safe. Will never stay in a place like this again. And on what planet is there a pass through from the bathroom to right next to the bed Absolutely unreal. Plus, if you plan on staying here to go to the casino, note that there IS NOT Lyft, Uber, or a cab service. So if you go there thinking you’ll have some drinks and find a way to your hotel, YOU ARE WRONG. Walkers Bluff could care less that you’re stranded there. AND WILL NOT HELP. Just stay away from Marion IL and Carterville. Absolutely horrible. All of it.

I paid for a weekly rate and put down a $100.00 pet deposit, then all of a sudden they said that they would be having a lot of bookings which hasn't even shown up yet and I couldn't stay. They had already been paid and they fought to give me the refund back. They had guaranteed money. You don't treat a customer like that. I still haven't received my $600.00 refund yet.
