Exclusive was so great to work with for our wedding. We ended up renting beautiful wood farmhouse tables to use at our reception through them and it elevated the space so much. There was so much emailing back and forth with them to see about what options they had for all types of small things that I was brainstorming throughout the planning process. Exclusive Events decorated the World's Fair Pavilion for our daughters wedding on August 24, 2019 and it was beautiful and just as the bride and groom wanted! We have received so many compliments and many saying it was the most beautiful wedding venue they have been too! Erin, was so patient with us and changed the plan so many times. Erin set up a plan for us to use at the ceremony site which we actually did not use because the couple decided to go very simple and elegant at the Old Post Office, but Erin was so helpful and supportive in our decision to bypass more decorations even though she had already spent time on it. We could not be happier with our choice of Exclusive Events to decorate our daughters wedding!

Requested a custom prop for a wedding. It was supposed to be a small scale replica of a science fiction piece called a Stargate that was supposed to be around 6-7' tall, and a hallow circle with symbols. We weren't sure how it worked to commission ths kind of work, but we were willing to throw money at it. This piece was what made it "our" wedding. It was more important to me than my dress.

Exclusive Events said they could do it, explained how it worked, and drew up some designs. Brian explained that they usually kept props they designed and the fee was really more of a "design and rent" fee. We offered to pay more if we could keep it, but if we couldn't, at least we would have pictures.

We contacted Exclusive Events (EE) about 9 months before the event date. At first, they seemed excited, but as time went on, we had to push to communicate. We called, emailed several times, and they would get back to us, but it took effort on our part. We had questions, but we were basically ready to sign a contract. The questions were very run of the mill and were basically about finishing touches. The replies from EE started getting further apart. Finally, about 4 months out, after emailing a few times and calling, we realized we'd been completely ghosted.

I understand that we were asking for a unique piece and scenario. If they weren't willing to take more money for the inconvenience, it would've been great if they would've at least told us that. A quick "we can no longer commit to the project" would've taken 20 seconds and gone a long way.

In the end, we were stuck without a piece from EE and it was far too late to commission it from anyone else. My husband's ingenuity allowed us to 3D print the structure, which, for something over 7 ft tall, took a long time. Since we had assumed EE was going to do the project until 4 months out, we had to scramble to complete the project in time. If they had just communicated when they started doubting the project, we might've had more time to complete it ourselves or find another builder.

Full disclosure, we did not have a contract signed yet. But when a contractor tells you they're going to do the project and continues to trickle in information about it, it keeps one on the hook, thinking the project will be done. I wish they would've backed out more quickly because their ghosting almost screwed us out of having the piece at all.

Exclusive Events handled a complex a/v setup for a 3-day conference with over 100 participants last May at the Magnolia Hotel. Their price was less than half what the standard outfit, PSAV, wanted to charge and the service was much more responsive. They did an excellent job, and I highly recommend them!
