I absolutely love Great American Divers. I took the Open Water certification and loved it! It was the first time I have ever put on a mask. I had a few obstacles which they were very patient with me and was solved. The instructors couldn’t have been better. They genuinely care about you succeeding as a diver.
The shop on Central School Road is nice and any questions I had were answered and believe me I had a lot. Getting answers from folks that have this much experience is so valuable. If you are considering learning to SCUBA dive, Great American Divers is a wonderful start.🤿

Had an amazing experience with this dive shop. Completed my open water training and both my closed water instructors (Dave and John) were great at going through all the required skills. My Open water instructor Jamie was so patient with a new diver, answering questions and working through all the skills. I also took my kids to their Discover scuba course recently and both of them loved it! My confidence in this sport is so much better now. The dive shop and the manager Dawn do a great job with working with you on the classes available as well as their gear selection. I’d encourage anyone thinking about diving to give this shop a try.

Had the first 2 classes of our open water dive this past weekend. Mark was awesome to work with. He was patient while my son and I worked to understand how to go through the ropes. Heather, the owner, popped in to help reassure me that I could do it (she worked with me on the beginners course). Great instructors, can't wait to do the last 2 open water dives with Mark, Heather and Lawrence

5 Stars all the way!
I just completed my "Reactivate diving class" since it had been a while since my last dive. My instructor Dawn was absolutely fantastic! From the first phone call I made to her asking questions about the class, up to the last pool class, Dawn was always a wealth of good information! This complete dive shop was recommended to me by my friend Jason, and I'm so glad he did! I have a new home now, the "GREAT AMERICAN DIVERS."

We took our dive computers, first and second stage in for service. What a great experience, staff was pleasant to work with and the service was completed on time. I am looking forward to many years of diving with Great American Divers.

We took a trip with the prior company and really enjoyed ourselves. The new owners indicated that upcoming dive trips would be posted likely in the first quarter of 2025. I’m looking forward to their new offerings and dive trips.

This place is awesome! I got my initial certification done here ten years ago and have done two private re-certs with Dawn (the absolute best!) Casual and comfortable environment, no judgement on things you need some refreshing on, I feel confident with the training they provide to make any dive! I will continue to always come back to see Dawn on my re-cert!!
