While in Makanda you have to visit the Makanda Trading Co. It has something for everyone. Many incense, stones, crystals, all shapes and sizes. We have purchased several items over the years. Always great service.

This is the Hippiest place on earth. Great community and many of the items in the shops are made by local artist . Fantastic coffee shop

love this lil rock shop. Has everything ya need from smoke cleansing sticks, singing bowls, Crystal's, wire wrapped pendants, jewelry and a wide variety of crystals to choose from.

I'm from Springfield IL and I will travel to this place anyday. This store has a special place in my heart. Known as the Rock Shop, there's much more to it than that. It's like a museum of artifacts with reasonable prices. Quinn is freaking cool as hell and I love his aura. The vibe of his music is amazing and the all out atmosphere of the place is so mystical. I recommend this place to everyone!

I pop in at least once a month for my solitary witch needs...the staff and owner is incredibly informative and friendly...he made it possible for me to afford a special piece of labradorite (that took at least a half hour of him holding up chunk after chunk to assuage my indecision). He even stayed open a few minutes late so I would have enough time to make the trip from Carbondale after my classes! Their prices are very reasonable and if the owner thinks you will get a better deal elsewhere..he will encourage you to try another shop..
