Hiring LP Creative Events was my favorite wedding gift to myself. Iām convinced that Loni and her team are among the best in the business.
TL;DR: Hire Loni to plan your wedding.
Before I even started planning our wedding, I knew I would need a little hand holding. First off, we live in NYC and knew that we wanted to host our wedding in western Colorado (where Iām originally from), so we were essentially planning a destination wedding. Second, my career is demanding and, at times, all-consuming, so it was important to me to know that somebody was thinking about the timeline and cared about my wedding when I didnāt have the time/energy for it. Also, day-of coordination was a necessity, because who wants to worry about the millions of details/scheduling on their wedding day?! I am not a natural party planner andābefore getting engagedāI had never put a lot of thought into what my wedding would look like, so I needed someone to take the reins and guide me on everything from venue selection to day-of coordination. I knew I would be in it for the long haul with whoever I chose, so personality and overall āfitā was really important to me. While I didnāt have a comprehensive āvision,ā I wanted luxury without pretension, and I needed somebody who could not only understand that but breathe it to life.
Enter Loni andālater onāLydia at LP Creative. From the very start, Loni brought the vibe. It is clear that she loves her job and knows how to navigate the wedding industry. Immediately, I could tell that we would work well together and that I could trust her. And, that intuition turned out to be 100% correct. She helped us navigate our first (and, perhaps, most difficult) taskāvenue and date selectionāwith the utmost patience and professionalism. Our schedules didnāt allow for us to travel to Colorado to visit every venue, so we heavily relied on Loni and her team to guide us through the process. We ended up selecting our venue based almost exclusively on Loniās recommendation, and we successfully snagged one of the few remaining dates for the following summer. Once we had a venue and date, the entire wedding was pulled together in about 8 months, and Loni and Lydia did not miss a single detail. The team was easy to work with in every aspect. They seemed to know exactly what I wanted, even when I couldnāt articulate it, and they had a solution for everything. I particularly loved that the team never pushed unnecessary things and made each of our requests work even if they were non-traditional. Also, there were multiple times during the course of the planning process that I was busy with work and other obligations, but the LP Creative Events team always kept us on track. Loniās years of experience and her drive, paired with her excellent relationships with vendors across the industry, helped turn every request into a reality.
Even having worked with the team for months to plan all of the details, I stepped into our wedding venue and was blown away at how perfect it was. Throughout our wedding day, Loni and Lydia made sure that everything ran smoothly and according to their meticulously planned order of events. Because of their planning and coordination, our wedding day felt dream-like in the best way possible.
