Denise is a true professional and a joy to work with. We had a large group of 8 for our trip to Europe, which included three countries. Denise set up our travel, hotels, and and tours. She was in contact via email and phone calls prior to our trip and updated our itinerary regularly. She was also available during the trip, which is so helpful when you are overseas and have questions. We can’t wait to work with DK Vacations again.

*** Above was my review when I first booked a trip with Denise to Disneyland Ca. I asked for her to book 2 rooms under 1 reservation so that between 2 adults and 4 kids we had plenty of room and bathrooms, she confirmed that the hotel Anaheim Majestic could do that and she called and confirmed with them as well. When I checked in on Monday the 7th I was told that the reservations were booked separately and that they can not join 2 rooms together!!! Let’s just say I broke down right there crying because I was so embarrassed and upset and so overwhelmed coming from out of state!! Tried calling her and she (Denise) didn’t answer, I left her a message and still til this day has not returned my phone call. I also emailed her a week before our trip and she never relied then either. I see all these other comments on her following up before and after everyone’s trips but sadly I didn’t get either ? I’m so disappointed and it put a bad taste in my mouth using travel agents. Please be careful everyone - the last time I heard from her is when I paid in full for our trip. Very sad but true.

From the first email, Denise has been on top of making sure we get our dream honeymoon. She has been very accommodating and would give us several options so we stayed within our budget. She has been great to work with so far, and I highly recommend using her for all travel needs!

I met Denise at the Queen Creek Family Market in March 2023 and told her about our desire to go to England, Ireland, and Scotland, in June 2023. I knew we were running short on time and we were planning for our family and extended family members as well, a total of 8 people. I had no idea where to start. Within two weeks of meeting Denise, our entire three week trip was planned and booked. Denise has been amazing to work with! She listened to everything we wanted to do and see and made sure it happened. The process has been easy and stress free and I will definitely be using her company for all future travel. My husband & I met Denise & Kayla at a Craft/Farmers Market in Queen Creek while we spent the winter in Arizona. We asked questions about cruising from the West Coast sometime in 2024. Not only did they answer some questions that day, they kept in touch with us once we returned home to Pennsylvania. They were efficient and easy to work with through email and even on the phone. They researched and answered any thing we asked. I’m happy to say we booked through them for Mexican Rivera Cruise for May 2024 !!! Thank you ladies.

Norwegian Bliss Cruise to Alaska (29Apr23 - 06May23) review on our recent trip.
Embarkation and disembarkation - Long, busy, and chaotic lines. Miscommunication is evident between crew members directing traffic. Most of the passengers ended up going in circles instead of exiting the ship.
Housekeeping - Very approachable, ensured neat, organized, and attentive to the detail of the room. No complaints whatsoever about the cleanliness and order of our cabin. Bravo Zulu to the housekeeping attendant.
Tours - Pricey, unorganized, and time constraints due to limited time in port left us not to be able to even see downtown while in port. Worse was the Victoria visit at night. This night tour is a waste of money. Cannot see any landmarks at night and most of them are close including Chinatown.
Complimentary Buffet Line - A variety of food is offered in different stations; quality, appetizing, and food items are replenished immediately for lunch and dinner. The only negative is during breakfast wherein there's always a line on the omelets and egg station. There are three burners to cook eggs to order: omelet and fried eggs. But only one is being utilized and the same scenario occurs every morning during the 7-day cruise. The cook behind the line for some reason does not interact with the customers and seems like they are not happy to cook these eggs/omelets. No greetings, no eye contact, interaction, or a break of a smile to the patrons. If they are not happy with their line of work, let them go.
Specialty Dining Options - We had dinner at the following specialty restaurants and our honest review below:
Los Lobos Mexican Restaurant - A total disappointment! Starting with the chips and salsa, both items served are from commercial sources straight from the bag and salsa jar. Not the homemade fried tortilla chips and homemade salsa typically served from an authentic Mexican restaurant. Foods are unappetizing, lack flavor, and are a bit pricy for the mediocre quality and taste of the menu items served. The table next to us ordered a lot but ended up leaving early after having their first taste of the food.
Le Bistro French Restaurant - Nice ambiance, quality food, and great service. The only downside is the portion servings and price which additional service charges and food charges are added for lobsters. Overall, good experience.
Food Republic Asian Fusion Restaurant - A nice, quiet, warm, and welcoming hidden gem. A variety of menu items all look appetizing and surely palatable. Customer service was way beyond our expectations from the podium greeter, servers, and bartenders. Excellent customer service and we ended up returning for more of their food and service.
Overall - 3/5, it was an average cruise. But compared to other cruise ship experiences we had in the past, this is not a very pleasant experience. There's more room to improve the quality of service and offerings to get repeat customers.
