We could not have asked for a better photography team than Megan, Katie, and Courtney at Moonshine. From start to finish, they were an absolute dream to work with—professional, talented, and genuinely wonderful people who became such an integral part of our day.

They weren’t just photographers & videographers; they felt like professional bridesmaids—always one step ahead, anticipating what we needed before we even realized it. Whether it was coordinating with other vendors, ensuring every detail was perfect, guiding me on how to hold my dress in the most flattering way, or even just talking to me about how I was feeling, they elevated our experience in ways we never expected. They also understood the complexities of family dynamics, making sure everyone felt included and comfortable while keeping things moving seamlessly. The entire process of working with them made us feel so ready for our wedding day. Our production timeline calls helped everything feel seamless, and our engagement session with Katie in downtown Buffalo was such a fun experience. It really broke the ice for how much we’d be photographed a few months later, and by the time the wedding arrived, we felt completely comfortable in front of the camera.

Our wedding was on a beautiful fall day in Buffalo, and we wanted it to feel timeless—classic, elegant, and true to us. Now, thanks to Moonshine, we have a timeless reminder of that perfect day.

Looking through our stunning gallery, I am beyond grateful for the depth and quality of their work. The turnaround time for our sneak peek was impressive, and the full gallery was absolutely worth the wait—every image perfectly edited to reflect the beauty, mood, and emotions of our day. The way they captured each moment allows us to relive our wedding over and over again.

And Katie’s videography? Magic. Every second of our day, seamlessly put together with music that perfectly fits our vibe, tells our story in a way that makes me want to do it all over again (though I wouldn’t change a thing!).

Photography and videography are one of the best investments you can make for your wedding, and Moonshine is worth every penny. These are the moments you’ll look back on forever, and I feel so incredibly lucky to have such beautiful reminders of our day.

I walked away from this experience not just with breathtaking photos and videos but feeling like I made three amazing new friends. I only wish I lived in Buffalo so I could see them more often and hire them for every life event! In fact, I think we should normalize professional photography for all milestones—new puppy portraits? Moonshine. Giving birth in a hospital where I can only have two people? Husband and Moonshine.

I wish I could give Megan and Courtney more than 5 stars because they deserve it! I met Megan back in 2019 and have been waiting for the day for her to shoot my wedding photos! Myself and my husband aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Megan and Courtney have such a calming aura that just makes you comfortable. The amount of time and attention they give to you is unmatched. They do an amazing job for pushing your outside your comfort zone while also being respectful. Megan and Courtney are the best photographers you can have. Megan did my engagement photos and both Megan & Courtney did my wedding photos, they are amazing and breathtaking, they captured every moment! Besides that she is very professional, respectful, and hardworking.

I had a maternity photo session with Katie and could not be happier with how the photos turned out! The session itself was so much fun - Katie conversed with me and my husband and we were able to laugh and enjoy ourselves the entire time. You can tell that Katie truly cares about her clients and wants them to feel great.

The photos turned out so beautiful and captured the exact aesthetic that I described to Katie. She was happy to try new poses that I found on Pinterest and also experimented with some new ideas during our session - all of which came out so great!

I wish I could give a 10 star review! Megan was an absolute dream to work with. From booking, to the engagement session, to our wedding day. We are absolutely obsessed with all of the photos she has taken of us. My husband was hesitant because wedding photography is an definitely a big financial investment, but he is so blown away by Megan and Courtney’s work that he is now saying that we will use Moonshine for all our future photography needs! For our engagement session Megan was able to beautifully photograph not only us but our two very hyperactive dogs. On our wedding day, Megan and Courtney were so helpful. Not only did they take beautiful photos, but they took control of the communication with the limo driver, rallied everyone together wherever they were needed, and seamlessly worked together to ensure that we had beautiful photographs. Having Moonshine photography there on our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! Megan was there with us through our engagement photos that landed right around the horrible winter storms last year and worked with us to get them done and they turned out amazing. Megan is super flexible, easygoing and you can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows in her work. Both her and Courtney were with us every step of the way on our wedding day. Two ceremonies and a reception, they made sure we got every possible shot we wanted and they kept us on schedule every step of the way. Great vendors really do take the stress off of you on the wedding day, and Megan and Courtney did just that.
