My husband and I went on the DC tour this past April and had an amazing time. There was more walking than anticipated even though it stated walking it was more than expected but I still had a fantastic time and saw more than I expected to see as I limited my walking. Had a good amount of time on our own also. Hotels and restaurants were awesome. The group was a great bunch of people and met a couple very nice ladies who we have remained in contact with as they were our aisle buddies and we all clicked. The bus driver John with 39 years of experience was friendly, professional, fun and since retired now. So glad we got to experience his driving and humor through and around DC. Carol is a hoot and kept up with a lot of stories of her life and family. The only downside of the tour for us was the narrow seats and lack of leg room in the bus. I had never bus toured before so had no idea. I have bad hips and back so that was the only downer for me. I used a lot of ibuprofen and my cane more than normal but that did not make the trip disappointing at all. This is just the way bus's are made and long bus tours are not my thing I found out.

Travel with Carol. She's the best. She goes above and beyond to make sure all her trips are fun. We have been on two trips with her and will be going with her again in January to Florida. Can't wait. Trips are affordable, with many meals included and the people you meet on the bus are very friendly. I recommend traveling with Carol. You will love it!
