We were in Kenosha for the funeral of our son. The owners were just amazing, leaving flowers in our cabin with a nice condolence note.
The cabin was very clean with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. There were chairs and a picnic table set up outside to watch the lake and we saw sunrise and moonrise both. The owner even started a small fire!
Just for the kindnesses alone, I would recommend this place. The view made it all the better.

I just stayed there. The ladies were nice. The gentleman was he was always looking at me to see if I was doing something wrong. The bed was very old. I’m the room just needed a lot to updated.

Husband and I did 3 night stay. Rooms were clean and area was quiet. We enjoyed a cabin while there. Location is perfect as its close to attractions but far enough off the beaten path that its quiet. It was a no thrills room but we are okay with that. Orlando was great amd helpful. We will DEFINITELY book again.

I found this motel on Google Maps. All of reviews online are spot on and accurate. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean. I will definitely be back, this is a great place to come and relax. Thank you for accommodating me! 😃

Wanted a quite walk in to room motel, due to Covid and this place was just the answer.||Our cabin had a beautiful window looking out to lake Michigan and was able to get some great sunrise photos Very comfortable king size bed, loved the shower head in bathtub but would have liked alittle hotter water.||For price with no frills it was great alittle off the beaten path but owner was very nice. It was perfect for site seeing centrally located for seeing the lake. ||Sad that storms had damaged alot of property so there is no longer any stairs or pier but all in all really enjoyed the place .

Fantastic weekend getaway! The owner is friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and felt safe. Awesome view of the Lake and Sunrise. Close to Kenosha and Racine attractions. I would highly recommend. Vintage feel, clean and well kept. We will be back.

The owner really takes pride in his motel with no dramatic activity. Always clean rooms and outside area. They are so friendly and helpful. They have great prices for the beautiful view of the lake on this property. Would tell anyone to go here to stay.

I spoke with the owner and he said it was $50 a night. Then when we showed up I saw $65 and figured that was for one night. The man at the counter said he would need to call the owner and he gave me the $50 a night. But then I saw $65 was for two nights so questioned that and the guy said no (but the owner had two nights marked for $65...should have called owner myself but did not so paid $100 for two nights). Then I asked if I walked off the street what would a rate be and he said the owner has to say. There should be published rates and I understand it can change based on availability. The room was clean and okay, but I asked for more toilet paper and the housekeeper said she would have to ask someone and none came. So I had to go in morning and get more. Then we came back late and found that our room had not even been touched between our first and second night stay. The wet towels were still on the floor and bed unmade. That is terrible. They are doing remodel but they need to get a better handle of cleaning rooms and stating rates accurately.
